"This is a very large lot with a large side yard that slopes down to a retaining wall, and a large front yard with grass and shrubs on a slope.   The back yard has a tall hedge and lawn.  Douglas Pineda came out to assess the job and give us an estimate.  Based on his Angies List standing, we accepted his bid.  Doug supervised his crew on Day One.  They came at 9 am and worked to after 7 Pm.  Day 2 was supervised by his father-in-law, and the work while satisfactory, could have used Douglas' critical eye and supervision.   Still, the end result was very good.   The property hasn't looked this good in years.
Based on their performance over the two days, we also hired Ramos for twice monthly lawn mowing and pruning upkeep.

"I signed up for their special moss removal offer through Angies list. I decided to give them a try and sign up for a lawn care program. The cost is fair and my rep is a nice guy. I was also impressed with the gentleman who came to aerate and over seed my lawn - decent customer service.
I also decided to sign onto a program based on the fact that they use a lot of naturally derived chemicals. They do still use Roundup, I believe if you want them to do weed removal.
