"I am very pleased with the work I contracted for. The individuals who worked on the pool were friendly, courteous, and professional. The only problem was the color of the pool deck paint did not match the paint chip color. This was not the fault of Jayâ s and they will be coming back to Re-Paint the deck once the paint comes in from factory."

"08-17-2017 Nutri-Green technician measured areas requested to be over-seeded with fescue. Aeration was asked for as well. 09-05-2017 After much miscommunication between Nutri-Green staff members a seeding proposal was finally received. 09-08-2017 The operations manager stated he'd check the area on the slope where fescue would be put down because I'd asked for wheat straw to be applied to hold the seed in place. He'd send me the amount for the cost of the product to cover the fescue on the slope. Much time passed before I called and received that information. 10-03-2017 No word about the over-seeding from Nutri-Green so I called. Staff member asked did we want aeration and over-seeding. Yes, we've received the proposal. I've been waiting for a call to start watering prior to the service because that's what you said needed to be done. She apologized for all the miscommunication. 10-11-2017 Aeration and over-seeding completed very late in the day. They had equipment problems. 11-01-2017 Called Nutri-Green because there are complete bare spots where fescue should be coming up. The slope had a minuscule amount of fescue. 11-02-2017 Asked to speak with the owner but he wasn't in the office. The offer was to speak with another staff member. I was familiar with her, so I said okay, but, did not receive a call back this day. 11-06-2017 Spoke with the staff member. She said the operations manager would come out and I could show and explain the problems. 11-07-2017 The operations manager came to our property. I asked should there be bare spots like we have? No, he said. Shouldn't the areas over-seeded be much thicker? Yes, he said. He would return the 10th to over-seed. 11-10-2017 My husband sent me a message that he'd received a call from Nutri-Green. The person said he would not be able to finish a job he was on and be at our home by dark. He'd be here noon tomorrow. We'd had our lawn crew remove all leaves this day for the additional over-seeding. When I got home from work that night the lawn was covered with leaves. 11-11-2017 I started early removing all leaves for the over-seeding. On this day the operations manager sent my husband a text message: "Good morning Mr.____ this is ____ with NutriGreen outdoor services. I will be unable to come by your house today. I had forgotten about prior obligations to my family this weekend. I apologize for any inconvenience." The worst is to be told you'll be taken care of, that something will be made right, but then it doesn't happen. Nutri-Green has been our lawn service provider for several years. Butch and his staff had always apologized for any mistakes. They had remedied any error. But, approximately 3 months ago I noticed a decline in their service to us.

UPDATE AS OF 11/14/2017: Today Butch, the owner of Nutri-Green, called and spoke with me at length. He is a person who truly cares about the service he provides. He is a kind and caring person. He values his customers. Traci, Jessica, and Rachael do as well. Thank you ladies for the help you have provided to us through the years. And I'm sure you will continue to do so. We discussed what has happened and Butch provided the solution for the issues with our lawn. It will take some time, but they will be resolved."

"He drew it and took pics of himself doing it otherwise we wouldn't believe even drew it. It looks like a photograph. We've never seen anything like it. He's amazing. He has also hand drawn pictures of my wedding and of my grand father for his funeral service."

"As far as I can tell about pruning, it is fine. Arborists made up order so I assume they know what they are doing. Trees look good overall. One thing bothers me. Since the trees were pruned, several small branches have fallen out of the trees with at least one yet hanging that I cannot reach. Since that big wind storm we had in Tulsa, caused one huge limb to break off, I was afraid of others not showing, that might in the future so decided to have this pruning done. It seems to me the pruners, or the management would be sure all loosened limbs/branches would be knocked down to make trees look good but, especially, to be sure none fall and perhaps cause damage or injury in the future. Also lots of bunches of dead leaves in sight. Which I would think the company would snip out, in order to show off their work more advantageously."

FAQs for holiday lighting add or remove projects in Beggs, OK

If climbing ladders or handling wiring isn’t in your comfort zone, hire a pro. Look for installers who post clear per-foot or hourly rates, carry insurance, and have solid reviews. Comparing at least three quotes helps you spot fair pricing without sacrificing safety. Skipping credentials to save a few dollars can cost you far more in repairs, so pick a qualified team and enjoy a safe, eye-catching display.

Yes, booking between February and September often scores lower rates because demand is light and pros have open calendars. You might even negotiate a discount package that includes removal or storage. If the budget is tight, ask whether a handyperson or an off-season permanent-light install makes sense for your home and timeline.

Determining the number of holiday lights for your house depends on your home’s size and specific decorative vision. Your project requires 10 to 20 light strands for a basic exterior display, with 100 lights allocated for eaves and an additional 10 to 20 bulbs for each awning.

For trees and substantial shrubs, allocate five to 10 strands per unit to achieve complete and balanced illumination across your property.

Tipping isn’t mandatory, but it’s a nice way to thank your installer for a job well done. Most homeowners offer 10% to 20% of the total bill or round up to an even figure if the crew exceeds expectations. A small extra goes a long way toward showing appreciation—and may help you snag priority booking next season.

Yes, you can install holiday lights yourself if your property layout is straightforward and your electrical system is secure. Homeowners who are confident in their ability to safely handle wiring and use proper equipment can save money with a DIY approach.

However, it is crucial to test all outlets thoroughly and secure the proper ladders and safety gear before starting. Careful planning and adherence to safety guidelines are essential to protect yourself and your home while achieving an attractive display.

Start by clearing the area of loose debris, damaged shingles, and anything that could trip you up. Test outdoor outlets and, if you’re unsure, bring in an electrician. Use a sturdy extension ladder (or scaffolding for very high spots) and never work alone—having a helper steady the ladder is non-negotiable. Taking these simple steps keeps you, your roof, and your new lights safe.
