"It went very well. The crew of workers was very professional. They came on time and finished on time. They cleaned up after they finished the job. The driveway looks brand new. They really walked the talk. My wife and I could not be more pleased. The price was right. I would highly recommend them."

"Excavated down to footing. Completely straightened two walls and stabilized with I-beams. Replaced mortar, cleaned, sealed, and installed drainage membrane on exterior. Replaced footing tiles and installed exterior sump basin. Installed PVC drain tile for sump pump and downspouts. Re-graded yard to improve runoff. Josh is an expert - a "reconstructive surgeon." His crew is excellent. I am completely satisfied. The walls are stable AND straight, and the basement is dry."

"They came out and they thought they could do the work and started to jack up our sidewalk and then they realized they couldn’t and it was like all turned out. They had to leave and reschedule and think of and a different approach. Unfortunately they didn’t realize that until after they had already messed up our current sidewalk. They did fix. The sidewalk itself looks nice but they tore up our bricks in our landscaping and I thought they could have taken a better care of either by putting it back nicely or by not messing it up so much. The price was fine. They came back and did the extra work for what they had quoted for the original work. I don’t know how that compares to other prices. The actual sidewalk looks good. They kept rescheduling a number of times and we had this jacked up sidewalk for like two months."

"After showing up several hours later than promised, and too late to complete the work as the sun was setting and temperature dropping into 40s, then not showing up the next day as promised, I had to call to find out what was going on. Again the workers did not showing up at the time promised, but were several hours late, and then the work performed appeared rushed and was very poor quality. The seal coating completely missed a couple large areas of the driveway, the grass was not edged back from the drive leaving the edges of the drive untreated with sealcoating, and I was left with questions about whether some of the cracks that were not filled should have been (to me some of the unfilled cracks looked to be larger than 1/4 inch). I texted pictures to Tim of the work, and he had his employees come back out to completely redo the driveway, and he came out himself to supervise and help. There were many different excuses given by Tim and the employees about the reasons for the poor communication and poor quality of the initial work (previous jobs took longer than expected, worker's partner was at hospital because of sick relative, two employees were new with one that had no sealcoating experience, etc). However the final work completed was A+ quality work and looks almost new again. Received many compliments on the final job, and my neighbors had Central Paving and Sealcoating do their driveway. The company came through and made everything right in the end, and we would most likely call them again when our driveway needs another sealcoating, but we would do so knowing not to expect excellent communication and punctuality. <br />"

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in Bellflower, IL

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
