"I contracted DeGain Masonry to do a paver patio in my back yard. The finished project turned out better than I could have ever expected… very precise and meticulous. Clint was quick to return my calls, started and finished the project when promised and was more than accommodating in every way. I am a particular customer with high expectations of those I hire. That being said, I would highly recommend DeGain Masonry."

"Marc and his team at Exotic Pavers completed, on a time, a fantastic paving job. Due to erosion, all the pavers had to be replaced in our front and back yards. The team was courteous, responsive to my requests, and careful with our landscaping and lawn. Marc offered great aesthetic recommendations, and estimated the job quite accurately. I had received 4 other bids for this job, and Marc's estimate and proposal was the most thorough. I would absolutely hire them again!"

"We recently had Jim install our kitchen cabinets. We are thrilled with the install. His job estimate was fair and answered any questions we had. He was always available and kept us informed. He was very professional and detail oriented. He arrived on time and his work was impeccable. He worked hard and completed the job by the end of the day while making sure everything was cleaned up before he left. Loved the professionalism - upon arrival- of this contractor. He wore clothing that represented his company along with the company name on his trailer. He was very pleasant and treated you like family. We would highly recommend Superior Carpentry for any remodel project. We will definitely use this contractor in the future."

"They were very courteous and professional. Work area always cleaned. In fact, they took the time to clean and re-use existing brick so bay window would retain aged look and flavor of older home, which also saved cost of new brick. They made sure to match the color of the windows caulking."

"Went great! Very professional throughout entire process from quote to completion. On day of installation, found a way to do job at a lesser than quoted price and passed the savings on to us. <br />"

"It is a small company here. They did a lot of things in general. They take care of the garden, and built a small stair case in the backyard. They cleaned tree hubs. They built a wall clear around the house. They removed snow, and planted trees. It was a good experience. We told him what to do and he did that. It was an easy going thing. I will recommend him. The price was very good. The quality was acceptable, but not high. He was responsive. He is coming on Friday for another job."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Bentley, MI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
