"Chris and James were awesome! We just bought a new house, and wanted the electrical system looked over. These guys showed up on time (even in a snow storm!), were professional and courteous - and wore shoe coverings - and checked out everything we wanted looked at. "Streb Electric contacted me through email right away after filling out the quote request at Angie's List website. In fact, out of four companies to which I requested a consultation, they were the first to respond and the easiest to work with. They charge $65 service fee, regardless if the call is for quoting or for performing an actual job, but unlike others, they have fixed prices and charge for the job/project, not hourly rates. We set an appointment, they came and explained the service and provided a quote, then we set a date for the repairs. They arrived on time on both occasions and called first to let us know they were on their way and to provide ETA. They did a good job and explained what they were doing and after the work was done, their warranty. I will surely use their service in the future. P.S. They have a membership service option. For a monthly fee they can waive the service charge (saving $65 each time they come) and do a house inspection. It also provides subscribers with a discount over their price list. I would recommend this if you live in an old house with a lot of little details to fix (like ours)."

"Blake returned my call that day for work that included installation of lights and outlets in basement, installation of a dedicated outlet in garage and troubleshooting some other issues. 4 days later the work started and after some initial changes a majority of the work was completed. Finished the job the following week with a half day of work. Called with an issue regarding a GFI switch. They were out the next day and determined that the issue was with the Christmas lights not the electrical wiring. Nick was polite, punctual, and cleaned up after himself. Would definitely use again and highly recommend."

"ESP came over to fix my outside outlet. While performing the job, they noticed that the previous owner had tied it into an indoor outlet which could have caused a fire. They rewired the outside outlet and created a new indoor outlet. Since they prevented a fire, I had them add some breakers to my box that were needed for my kitchen to take on additional appliances. I'll use their services again for saving me a lot of headaches and a fire."

"Jim is an experienced electrician. We hired him to install an 220 line to our garage for the purpose of charging our new EV. Experienced in this type of job, Jim arrived with everything needed to complete the work (i.e. running the electrical line from the Box - which need a bit of modification - through the basement ceiling to the garage, and installing the 220 receptacle in the garage.) Only slight hitch was the the actual 220 outlet which was mounted in such a way that I could not mount the actual vehicle charger in the best location on the garage wall. Everything worked fine, I just have to come up with a fixture to permanently mount the charger. Jim did all the work within a 2 hour window. I think the cost was a bit on the pricey side (though Jim said that his price would be among the cheapest around. I'm not so sure of that). Bottom line however, I chose Jim because he impressed me that he was fully capable of doing a quality job, which he did. So I am a satisfied customer."

Updated Siemens 100 amp sub-panel from an outdated Wadsworth panel. 2. Installed 7 new recessed lights in my dining room and kitchen. 3. "Mr. Electric provided excellent service for me under difficult circumstances. A building contractor damaged a wire and buried it under 42” of concrete. Ryan Corley, Mr. Electric’s wire detection specialist, was able to locate the wire accurately. Electricians Jeff Shipkosky and Khefren Johnson spent two and a half very long days, in 93-degree heat, digging around the perimeter of my house. Both ends of the damaged wire were eventually located six feet underground, which is considerable deeper than code requires. Justin David, Mr. Electric’s manager, was here working alongside his men and provided all the support possible to them. He maintained full contact and communication with me throughout the entire process. These men, along with a crew of assistants, are a class act company. I was very impressed at the dedication of Mr. Electric and recommend them highly."
