We hired this exceptional shop to replace all the old knob and tube wiring (along with switching out a number of light fixtures and installing several ceiling fans) in our 120-year-old Victorian home – a challenging job that a couple of other electricians didn’t feel confident undertaking. Owner Jack McCurdy personally came to size up the job and give us a detailed estimate, and his professionalism, courtesy and extensive knowledge sold us. What was originally thought to be a two-week job was finished in six working days as foreman Joe Costain efficiently deployed his crew and brought in a second crew on a few days to expedite the work. Joe was great at communicating what kind of activity we could expect day-to-day, especially as both my wife and I are working from home fulltime during the COVID pandemic. He and the crew checked in frequently on our preferences, minimized the number of holes in the ceilings and walls (including avoiding harming our wallpaper in a couple of rooms altogether), and cleaned up well at the end of every day. Jack’s estimate was competitive and the final accounting accurately included the additions and subtractions we agreed to during the job. We feel so much better that we’ve finally eliminated the risky knob and tube wiring and updated the entire house’s electrical system. "I had an issue with a bathroom fixture that would not work due to no electricity flowing to it. Joe had to trouble shoot my entire house to identify the problem. It took quite a while but he got to the bottom of it and we finally have light in that bathroom. Joe was great! He was timely in arriving and was very professional. During the entire process he was very patient and certainly knew how to proceed. The bottom line is Joe had to correct a previous electrician's error. He also installed some new receptacles where needed. He cleaned all work areas when he finished. I would highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for an electrician."

"Just call these guys. There. Done. James and his brother, Daniel, came out to move a wall installed TV. I wanted it lower and the job entailed moving two outlets lower as well, then patching the drywall. These two were great: very knowledgable, incredibly professional, highly skilled, very friendly, cleaned up over and over while working (the mom in me LOVED that) and charged a very fair price. I felt they went above and beyond what most installers would do and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the job. Even better? They will come weekends and evenings at no extra charge. I highly recommend them. Just had to come back and say that, because Daniel did such a fabulous job repairing my drywall and painting after my TV was moved, I hired him to come and repair drywall with water damage and repaint that as well. His work is invisible!! He did an awesome job!! Swift, impeccably clean, VERY reasonably priced. I don't always go for the cheapest estimate because I'm fearful of sloppy work. Daniel gave me the best estimate as WELL AS the best work! I had to go to work as well as run errands while he was in my home. I trust him implicitly."
