"iI had 8-10 pieces of furniture to donate to Goodwill, and a garage full of things I no longer wanted and some construction debris from other jobs.  Goodwill rec'd the company, and I checked their rating here and on Yelp.  I read their straight-forward and easy to use website to book an appointment for an estimate on the day/time of my choosing (3 days later, Saturday btwn 1 and 3 pm).   When booking my estimate/appointment, I clearly stated I wanted them to take the furniture on Saturday, and an estimate ONLY on clearing out the garage.   <br /> The team (Max, Mike and Rodger) phoned me shortly after my appt window began this afternoon, and arrived in the driveway within 15 minutes.   They were professional, courteous, well-dressed, strong, and ready to <strong> WORK</strong>.  <br /> Max went through an overview of the company and their service, took a look at my volume of items, and gave a reasonable estimate.  Mike and Rodger waited professionally while we went thru this process.  The cost was based on how much room my stuff took up in the truck, and Max promised the estimate would be reduced if I didn't need so much space in the truck.  Max also offered to handle everything -- both the furniture and the garage junk -- this afternoon in one visit, instead of asking me to make a new appointment for the add'l work.   <br /> I accepted the estimate for the whole operation, and the work began.  I did not feel under any pressure to accept the estimate, and believe they would have left quickly if I had declined or said I wanted to get other bids. <br /> As soon as Max and I finished the paperwork, the three men dove in.  In <strong> less than 2 hours</strong> they went through a <strong>VERY </strong>full two-car garage, helped me sort what I wanted to keep vs. what was ready to go, and were incredibly efficient, productive, professional, and even funny.  (Sorting thru junk is not something I normally consider 'fun' on a Saturday afternoon, but they seemed to enjoy their work and got along with each other and with me very well.)   <br /> It was quickly apparent that they would need a 2nd truck to haul away all of my stuff, and the truck arrived before it was even needed!!  There was no way the company could have known in advance that I would need so much space -- when booking the estimate/appointment I said I wanted the furniture removed and an estimate ONLY on the garage debris -- and I was very impressed they could handle this problem in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. <br /> Once the garage was empty the men carefully swept up the garage and carport, and helped me put some items I chose to keep back into the garage.  <br /> At the end of the job Max was very pleased to tell me my junk took up significantly less space than he had anticipated, and reduced the estimate by 1/3.  The deal was <strong><em> AWESOME.  </em></strong> <br /> I highly recommend College Hunks, particularly Max, Mike and Rodger, will use them again in the future, and rec'd them to friends and family. <br />"

"I had to reschedule our original appointment date. Omar was understanding and we rescheduled to another day that fit my work schedule.  Omar and his son arrived on time and ready to work.  We did a tour of all the varied work I wanted done.  We began in the garage because I wanted to direct how I wanted the garage organized.  We worked well together.  Omar made some good suggestions and listened to what I preferred as well. <br /> In the house Omar had all the tools to check out lights in both bathrooms and toilet.  He had the equipment in his truck for master bathroom lights and toilet.  He needed to replace the light ballast in guest bath which required him going to a couple of hardware stores to find the right fixture.  While Omar worked on lights and toilet, his son and I worked on assembling the curio cabinet and mirror. <br /> Overall it was a very good experience and I will continue to use Omar to help around my home. <br />"
