"They do my lawn all the time. They mow my lawn and edge the yard. They also spread mulch and do weed removal. They come every week this time of year. Their work is consistent and reliable."

"AMAZING!! I HIGHLY recommend Ronnie Mitchell & Sons! From the moment we met Ron, he had great ideas and I KNEW he was not going to sell me on work I did not need. In fact, being new to the lake, he helped guide me on what was really important and also helped me meet the needs of my family. Ron was so responsive, always on time for appointments and his staff... well they are the TOP staff ever!! I would use Ronnie Mitchell & Sons again and highly recommend you hire them as well. So very happy with the project. Worth every dime."

"The owner is great to work with and his team is efficient, polite and very skilled in their work. They transformed a muddy hilside of a back yard into a wonderful outdoor space with a fireplace. They also provided a walkway around our house and a very nice entrance to the front of our house which was treacherous before. We're looking forward to another project this spring. HIGHLY RECOMMEND GREEN ACRES!!!"

"On  Monday they tore out old steps of RR crossties. On Tuesday they set posts in concrete an ACTUALLY BUILT STRINGERS USING TREATED WOOD. On Thursday they put in the steps using two 38 in. by 8 in. boards cut for each step for a run of 11 steps, built a railing that runs the whole length of the steps and built a platform of approximately 5 feet at the top of the staircase using the same 38 in. by 8 in. boards. Every board is treated wood and every board was secured carefully with SCREWS.!"

"Valley Landscaping re-landscaped a side of our house, which included removing some large trees, stump grinding, grading the soil, putting down sod, mulching a large steep bank, and planting a few small trees and perennials.   We discussed the work with Garrett beforehand, and from the start he seemed very arrogant.  When they had to change the plans a little bit due to some underground issue I wanted to be clear on what the new plan was, so I asked a few questions and when I expressed a little bit of concern over whether the flat area would be big enough he said something to the effect of "Look, I've been doing this a long time, and you seem to worry about a lot of stuff, so just try to stay calm and trust me things will be fine."   When I told him again the dimensions of the swing set and that I wanted to make sure it would fit he said "Y'all seem like the type of people that would buy a 30-feet boot for a 20-feet space".  I guess he was trying to be funny.   But I've never worked with somebody so condescending, and don't ever plan to work with him again. <br /> The workers showed up on time and they did good work.  But it never failed that when it was quitting time for the day, they got the h*** out of dodge in a hurry without ever talking to me, even on the final day.   Poof, they were gone.  They hooked up a sprinkler around lunch time on the final day, and explained the sprinkler to me verbally in about 2 minutes, then went on about their work for the remainder of the afternoon.   That was the final day, and they left around 5:30pm without saying a word as usual.   One would think a professional company like Valley Landscaping would leave WRITTEN instructions on how to operate the sprinkler (including how often it should be running), how often to water the sod, the trees, and plants.   But no, when the work was done that was it.  And we're not natural green thumbs.  We expected some guidance in the form on clearly written instructions on how to care for the $10,000 landscaping job they just did.  Oh, and the sprinkler was faulty so it ran for about 12 hours straight before we realized it.  I thought it seemed to be running a lot, but then started doubting what the worker told me as far as how often it should run.  Again, providing WRITTEN instructions seem like a common sense thing for a landscaping business to provide it's customers. <br /> Valley Landscaping does good work but that by itself isn't enough, so we likely will not use them for any future landscaping jobs due to the attitude of the manager and their communication style . <br />"
