"They removed all mulch beds and a lot of shrubs. They replaced the mulch with new fabric and added rock. The weather was hot and humid but everything was finished in 2.5 days. It is exactly what I wanted."

"Everything went really well. They are very creative and very good quality of work. They were the only landscaping company that listened and worked with my wife. They solved a lot of issues with us as far as draining and getting water away from the house. They finished all the landscaping and brought out all the plants to our property, that way they let my wife pick out what she wanted instead of her having to come to the nursery. They have really great customer service. On the fly I was able to ask for certain things I wanted and they were quick to accommodate. It takes a lot of coordination to pull off a job like ours. The foreman that day did a great job finished a large job in just one day. They utilized our current plants and landscaping. An outstanding feather with them is when they came to bid the work it only took them one day to draw up the plans with colored pictures of every angle of the home via email. I would definitely recommend them and work with them again. The price was very fair and accurate."

"The process was seamless--we made a few tweaks to the plan that Curtis had presented and we ordered the plants for the front section of the home. The plants were delivered on time and have been good quality plants since we received them. <br />"

"Kevin was professional and did an excellent job. Our counter top was delayed by the company we ordered it from ( which meant no sink to use) and came in on a Friday. Kevin was working that day at another site, so he came in and worked all day Saturday so we did not have to go the weekend without a kitchen sink. <br /> Kevin did a beautiful job on the work performed. <br /> The cost was right on for work described in the original estimate. We had him do some extra jobs, fixing walls, building the soffits, and installing crown molding, so the cost was more than quoted , but only because we had him do more work. <br /> Yes we will hire him again! <br />"

"<p>Haldeman Builders recently installed an special order 8? patio door for me.  From start to finish, working with Chuck was a breeze.  With so many options and materials available, I was unsure about what to order.  Chuck was very knowledgeable about door construction and materials providing multiple options and tax rebate information.  His crew was skilled, efficient and very conscientious about minimizing the dirt and dust inside the house.  Debris clean-up after the install was exceptional as well.  All-in-all it was a good experience and more importantly, one that didn?t break the bank. I look forward to working with Haldeman Builders again.</p>"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Bloomer, WI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
