"This company replaced Monarch Roofing at 5511 Maggie St, Baltimore, MD. 21225. It went great and the guys were so nice. I previously used this company in 2010 to add aluminum siding on my front porch. I called again but found they had new owners and no longer did siding. I had projects for two homes, both required gutter covers and aluminum coating on the porch roof. One house also needed window shutters replaced and one needed a downspout replaced and porch siding caulked. The old downspout was underground and clogged causing water to backup to the gutter and overflow when it rained. They gave me the cost to dig underground to replace piping or recommended bringing it above ground. I also called Homeserve to see if my insurance covered it and BGE Home to see if they offered a different price with my plumbing Smart plan. No, and no. I went with the above ground downspout replacement. Monarch also removed the cast iron device that held the old downspout in place and covered the hole in cement."

"They were fantastic! I can't speak highly enough about them. The price was excellent and they were professional. They did the whole job in one day! They cleaned up the lawn with a magnetic device. They had a translator for the crew that made sure everyone knew what to do. My builder had left some tar paper off and Topper Construction, with no problem, took care of this. We were very pleased with them."

"The estimate was free. The estimate was for a roof replacement over my house and my garage. They were quick. They were responsive, but they were much less communication about the estimate. They were basically, "Yeah, we'll be there Friday". Friday kind of came and went and I called back to even see if they had even come to check it because I didn't have that day for the estimate. It was a little more vague. Had they even really been here? Or not? Whereas the other folks, they were here. I was actually here when they were here. I don't want to make it like it was vague because I wasn't here. They just never said, "hey, we're coming out today" or "hey, we were there yesterday". They were like "we'll be out this week" and then the next week were like, "oh yeah, our guy came out". For improvement, I would recommend they serve an immediate followup to them having come out to do the estimate. I would recommend that within 24 hours of them being at your house, they call and say, "hey, Mr. Stottlemyer, we were at your house yesterday and just wanted to let you know we're working on your estimate" so you know that they have actually been there. Everybody was really close on the price. There wasn't really a whole lot of interaction. I just didn't like the whole idea of not letting someone know exactly when someone was there. I wouldn't not use them because of that. "

Originally, Nick thought they may be able to replace the glass only, but after examining the windows, it was determined they were not the type that could just have the glass replaced. I love the new windows! The installers were polite and professional and the installation took less time than originally estimated. I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to hire again for window and/or door projects."
