"Mike from Stump Busters was great. He got back to me right away after submitting my request for stump grinding and came out within a week. Stump Busters made quick work of grinding my stump down and cleaning up not only the wood chips, but also any debris and dirt that was spread around from the grinding. So, bottom line, fast, tidy and reasonable price. I would recommend them."

"I had some trees I needed removed from my front yard. They came with a crane and a few trucks and took care of the work in under 5 hours. The work was done very neat and professional. A few days later they had another crew come for the stump grinding. They did an excellent job for a very reasonable competitive price. I would absolutely use them again for more tree work. The owner Carlos expresses how important every customer is and makes sure all the services you wanted were done and done properly."

"Just wow. I had several large oak trees removed from behind a fenced-in yard. The trees were actually hanging over my fence, so this was very precise and delicate work. Tony and his remarkable crew came in with a crane and dismantled the trees piece by piece, moving the pieces over my house and garage and into the front yard where they were further dismantled and put into a chipper. It was a spectacle to behold. They had to remove parts of two fences and my mailbox in order to do all of this, but everything was restored exactly they way it had been. Amazing! It looks fantastic, and every single member of the T & N team was incredibly nice and friendly on top of it. All businesses should take note: THIS is how you do customer service."

"Jay and his crew did an excellent job trimming some large oaks with branches over our garage and driveway, plus he removed a large oak tree from our backyard that was both close to our house and difficult to access. I was impressed with how quickly Jay reached out to me after requesting an estimate, and I appreciate that he stayed in contact leading up to and during the process. I will definitely recommend these guys to any of my friends or family looking for tree service in the future."

"We live off of a lake and noticed significant beaver damage to a tree and called for an estimate for emergency removal. East Coast Service came that same day and not only beat a competitor's estimate by $100, they were able to come the very next day. Even though they had a big job at another site before that, they still came and worked very hard to get the job done. We are very impressed with their work and thank them for a fast, professional job."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Bondsville, MA

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
