"Initially we called Protecta Roofing to get our roof inspected. Even though we currently did not have leak issues we thought it wise to have the roof inspected as the ceramic tiles were close to 30 years old. Mario was prompt in responding and coming out to inspect. We were informed of 10 broken tiles. Our decision was to have the tiles replaced and power wash the roof to remove algae which included applying an organic sealant product. After a couple weeks of failed attempts to obtain an estimate from Mario I was in touch with Edith, the company sales manager. From then on the communication and process went smoothly. Edith and crew were a delight to work with. Her knowledge of the work to be done and concern for my satisfaction were impressive. In addition to repairing the broken tiles, our solar panels were cleaned along with painting the pipe flashings. "Leon , the owner came to do the bid on the repairs the day I called him. ( one company I called said it would be 6 weeks before I could even get a bid). Another quoted a minimum $4000. charge for repairs. Leon was very friendly. He went on the roof to check the two areas that were leaking. He took pictures to show me the problem areas. Keep in mind I had the roof done 5 years ago with a 25 year warranty. A lot of good that did because they filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. Company was Peterson Dean. Largest roofing company in the US. Leon quoted me a price which seemed very fair. So i agreed. This was on a Thursday. They were out the following Monday to do the repairs and finished the same day. They took before and after pictures so I could see what was done. Iâ m 73 so I donâ t climb ladders to the second story roof any longer. He gave me a five year warranty on the work which is fine with me. Weâ ll know for sure with the first rain. Iâ m confident that it wonâ t leak. I would recommend him to anyone looking for repairs or complete reroof. Just a sidebar, l was in roofing 35 years ago so I had a pretty good idea of what needed to be done and they took care of it without overcharging me. Thanks Leon !"
