"Alan Taylor is a horrible professional to work with. We hired him as an architect for our project and regretted it bitterly. Alan caused numerous delays, exploiting the fact that we simply were dependent on him once the design was approved by Boston building department. Each interraction with Alan took forever and his endless requests to get directly in touch with various committees, professionals working on the project, were absolutely not necessary, exclusively justifying Alan's overbilling. I will give 2 examples: my son was scammed out of $11k when he maid a payment to Alan, who then insisted that it was not him giving the bank info for money transfer, but hackers of his email. It took my son 4 months to get the money back, thanks to his bank, with Alan demanding a full payment over and over again, which resulted in almost 6 months delay. At the final stage of the project,while preparation of the condo association documents, Alan had to prepare as is building plan. One does not need to be an architect to realize that 1 site visit for measurements and max a couple of hours to review the engineering plans and add 8 annotations should not take 2.5 months and be billed $3680. I would strongly encourage everyone to stay away from this person."

"Curtice Group to the rescue! This was our second project with the Scott, Eric, and crew after they did our amazing kitchen remodel. We needed our basement bathroom fixed after a previous contractor back-pitched all the piping. I truly can't say enough good things about them: they were transparent with pricing, extremely communicative about what work would happen when, and efficient!
