"The Project was a complete success from start to finish! Elias, the Project Manager was excellent. We had a major problem with a roof that was leaking . We had several contractors come to look at the roof for estimates. Elias spent the most time of any of the contractors viewing and evaluating the roof and siding as well as the inside of the house where the water was leaking into and discussed the project with the President of Beantown. He was excellent at explaining what needed to be done. It was not your average "roof job" as the roof abutted a large chimney and the room under the roof was cold and drafty. He was very patient with me as I had many questions about the project. Janice, the Office Manager, was courteous and always available from start to finish. The roofing team was very professional and did an excellent job. They also added the appropriate insulation, new siding to the house by the roof, gutters and appropriate flashing. The roof not only looks great, but the room beneath the roof is no longer drafty and there are no leaks. His team cleaned up after the project was completed such that you wouldn't even know they were there. Elias was so professional and he even contacted us after the first rainstorm to make sure that everything was fine. The Office Manager, Janice sent the Roof Warranty to me right away. "Vellox was amazing. My neighbor recommended I check with them when obtaining quotes for the work on my house which needed a new roof and gutters. Gleyson Olivera from Vellox was the only company rep of all of the other 5 quotes I received who came to my home AND walked me around my house giving recommendations as well as listening to my concerns. The lead time was acceptable, the quotation was competitive and there were no "hidden" extras such as rotten wood add-ons. Also, Vellox was the only company to account for overhangs on my roof and bring the ice and water shield farther up the roof. All of the other companies missed this. Company was hired to correct the issues caused by a prior roofer whose incompetence has cost me additional thousands in repair. On Top Roofing installed a ridge vent that the prior roofer only placed on the roof, re-flashed the chimney where prior roofer failed to install to match new rook lines, re-surface flat rook where prior roofer ignored. In addition, On Top Roofing was used on apartment buildings to help close up the roof and eliminate a bat problem. On the Top Roofing is the only roofing company to use. "Came out to do an estimate, and didn't provide it to me for many days or contact me, despite multiple phone calls I made and messages left. While I understand they were swamped with demand due to a snowstorm, I was led to believe they would be more responsive - and the responsibility lands with them to set expectations with me on turnaround time. In the end, they did repair our gutters in about 10 minutes, and I can't complain - it was fast, albeit very expensive. If I can find an alternative, I wouldn't hire them again."
