When I insisted that they leave the block edging where the new beds were added he expressed a couple times that he thought it would look better without, I eventually saw it and was glad he suggested it. His crew also added a cute little circular rock area when they extended the bed and some of the rocks weren't needed."

We focus on all kind of projects, big or small. We do your traditional Landscaping such as cut grass, trim bushes/trees, pull weeds. We also work on bigger projects like creating new back or front yards and patios, and all kind of cement work. We work all year around and do our best to give the customers the best affordable price out there. We shovel during the winters and paint all year around, as well as much more.
"Didn’t mulch all beds with very minimal mulch that we overpaid for. Said he would come back and never did We asked for edging of beds and essentially we only received trimmed beds. Grass seed work was very minimal. Too expensive for the level of effort we received. Do not recommend."

The staff which includes horticulturalists and certified horticulturalists enjoy bringing natural beauty to our clients. Many projects are employing turf alternatives, pollinator gardens, and naturalistic landscapes. The owner holds a Construction Supervisor License (CSL) and pulls permits for projects when needed. We always enjoy a challenge.
"Gardens by the Yard was great. First, they were super professional, responsive and had really great attention to detail. Leisha listened to what we want to accomplish, offered good suggestions, was open to midcourse corrections when what we had in mind needed to change; and it was all done in a professional positive manner. They helped us redo an aging brickway way and rebuild a stone wall. The final product look great, will prevent weeds from growing thru, and is pitched to prevent moisture issues. Their work digging out old bad fill and putting in new compost and soil was excellent, they took care not to damage existing trees and utility lines and to work with our other contractors to design and support the installation of a drip irrigation system. Their landscape design knowledge is wonderful, strong knowledge of what grows well, what is deer resistant, etc. The crews has good attention to detail, were polite and professional. I'd recommend them for sure."
