"Joe Piazza took my call at 11:30 AM today and was at our door within the hour! He began work on our 100-year-old, 3-story chimney on the spot. His thorough inspection (from inside and outside) revealed that we had not only lost both chimney caps, but had a severe breakdown of the old, internal terra cotta tiles. He suctioned out the debris, then took a photo upwards to show how badly they had deteriorated. (When we bought this fix-up house we were told that re-sleeving was not needed because we were converting to a gas fireplace.) Joe explained that now, it was necessary to prevent further breakdown & dangerous carbon monoxide buildup. Thank God he came! "I am still waiting for the return of my deposit as it has been a week since I put this review on hold after putting in the notice that day 24 June of cancellation by email and next day mail. As I have said before I am a disabled Vet, Senior citizen with health problems. I have copies of the emails that I sent on the days of 06/24/2023 and by next day Mail on the 27th notarized copies of the cancellation. Tried calling but went to voice mail. No work has been done so a rating cannot be done on the work, only the price. This job was way overpriced and never got the chance to compare. The salesman was a good person but I have my family doing it for thousands less."
