"Very unprofessional, Very unreliable, Lacks integrity, truthfulness and trustworthiness. Will not recommend or hire again. I have done some minor repairs of windows before with this company and was not a big deal , did not involve major installation or deposit , so never had a problem. However this time around I paid for impact windows installation that was supposed to be completed in 6- 8 weeks. Right from after the deposit was paid, communication stopped. I heard nothing more from them regarding permit filing and all the paper works for HOA even though I paid for permit. I had to call their office several times without any response. After 8 weeks there was still no response. It was not until I asked for a refund that Mike eventually hurriedly sent some people (not sure if they work for him) to come and install the windows. Half way through the installation , I noticed they had not installed the screens , asked them where the screens where, they said they forgot to bring it, called Mike , only to learn the screens where yet to be shipped and the man from the warehouse will be installing the screen when it arrives. It was unbelievable! I told them I will never allow that. Finally the installers came back the next day and installed the screens. Then I asked for the inspection papers and time. Another lies and lies of dates that never materialized. I eventually called the inspectors office , only to learn permit was not fully completed or picked up and so work cannot be inspected until their expired documents were submitted. I followed up with Mike again until the inspection was finally done . Time frame was 4 months. It was a horrible experience. Every conversation was unreliable and untruthful. Will not recommend to anyone that values Professionalism and integrity in business. This was a nightmare!"

"DO NOT HIRE – NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE WITH MIKE GOMEZ / BLUEPRINT WINDOWS LLC My experience with Mike Gomez of Blueprint Windows LLC was a complete disaster and should serve as a serious warning to others. In January 2025, I hired him to install hurricane impact windows. After obtaining HOA approval, I paid a $9,000 deposit on March 10 — which he promptly cashed. After that, everything unraveled. Despite my repeated efforts and full compliance with city and HOA requirements, Mr. Gomez failed to pull the required permits. Worse, he attempted to have me, the homeowner, listed as the contractor — something the City of Plantation confirmed was improper and unacceptable. Over the next several months, I accommodated every request and delay. I provided notarized authorizations, offered to meet him at the permitting office, and even agreed to revised payment terms. Yet, he never delivered any materials, never pulled permits, and never began any work. Instead, he sent a threatening email demanding another $9,108.44, claiming my $9,000 deposit was forfeited and threatening to place a lien on my property and sue me. No work was performed. The project was completed on March 15th, and my troubles began almost immediately when I discovered a noticeable scratch on my brand-new front door. After requesting a repair, it took over three months to receive the replacement part. During this time, communication from the company was appallingly lacking. I felt completely ignored, as I had to constantly reach out for updates with very little response. When the part finally arrived today, June 17th, I was then informed that I would need to wait an additional two weeks for the installation crew. It’s baffling how I could be pushed to the back of the list after waiting for three months for a simple repair. The assigned Project Manager was virtually non-existent, failing to communicate with me throughout the entire process. Additionally, I encountered rudeness from the customer support staff, which only added to my frustration."

When my parents informed Jake via text that they wouldn’t be available for the scheduled inspection, he didn’t respond to confirm a reschedule. Instead, my father later received a message stating he owed money, which was incorrect, as we have proof of payment. Proper bookkeeping would have prevented this confusion, yet there was no apology—just a dismissive remark that the message was sent in error. Jake then deflected the conversation, asking about the inspection status, which he should have known given the text sent that morning. The way Jake raised his voice and threatened not to reschedule the inspection was highly unprofessional. Customers should not be spoken to this way, especially when they’re trying to accommodate the company’s process. If a client isn’t available, a professional company should be flexible in rescheduling as many times as necessary to complete the service. Moreover, they seem to try to cover up negative reviews by soliciting new ones. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution anyone against working with this company."

Prices ranged as high as $21,000.00 I was disillusioned about having the work done till one of my friends told me to contact East Coast Windows & Doors Inc as she had worked with them last year to replace windows at her home. Well, all I can say is that I am so glad I did. I met with Ed the owner who is a straight shooter and honorable man. They were prompt and professional. I got a great product and a great price. They have their own installation team and do not subcontract the installation as so many companies do. Ravi and his team were exceptional! And despite the fact that it rained the day of the installation the work was done with high quality and care for my needs. All in all, their are a lot of companies out there doing this work , but many are rip off's!
