"<p>As with the previous poster, the main problem we had with FiveStone was communication. Ryan came out and estimated the job (and was very nice, according to my husband), and we sent a deposit of one-third. We were told they were coming Oct. 1, which was several weeks after the initial estimate. We had to call to find out they wouldn't be coming until Oct. 12 The job took parts of three or four days, but the frustration came in being told they were coming, and then not having them show up or call at all and having to track them down repeatedly over the course the week or so that they were on the job. I'm lucky I was home recovering from surgery, because if I had had to take off work to do this, I would had a tough time of it.</p> <p>The workers worked very hard while they were here, but came without some needed supplies and kept asking to borrow our things to do the work (tarps, cardboard, stepladder, box fan, turkey baster to put water in the crack, broom, vacuum, etc.), which also bothered me. They did go out and get plastic sheeting and rags. While they did tarp off the immediate area they were working on, they didn't cover anything else in the room; as a result, everything was completely covered with epoxy dust. They did ultimately clean a lot of it on the last day, but there's still a lot of cleaning for us to do. </p> <p>I'm frustrated because I found the workers nice and hardworking, as well as the staff in the office and I want to rate them higher. I kept hearing about a car accident or accidents people in their company had had as excuses why they were late or didn't have supplies or hadn't called when they promised they would. I'm truly sorry there were accidents, but I just wanted someone to be honest with me about the schedule and keep me up to date. I hope they can get this communication issue solved.</p> <br />"

"We called Bob to do an estimate on our roof. He explained that he had jobs lined up to be completed before ours, but if we sprang a leak, he would come and tarp it immediately. Fortunately, that didn't happen. As it was July, Bob and his helper showed up quite early in the morning to begin work. Bob explained his work schedule, meaning he would take off in the worst of the afternoon heat and return in the evening to continue. They draped tarps around the house to catch errant nails and shingles as they tore off the old roof. We learned that there are certain detailed tasks that Bob does himself, like flashing around a chimney. He is very particular about the quality of his work which we consider a excellent trait in a workman. The roof was completed in a matter of days and the yard was cleaned up. Our roof looks great and we have had compliments from so many of our neighbors. We will definitely call him again!  <br /> <br /> <br />"

The landscaping looks great and there is a noticeable difference in the before and after picture--almost like it's brand new again. The quality of work is outstanding; the pricing reasonable--a good value for the money. The workers arrived as promised, were courteous, hard-working and cleaned up after themselves. Brad, the owner, is very personable, attentive and customer-oriented. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do in several areas and he gladly offered suggestions and his expertise to assist me in the decision-making. There was no hard-selling of product or services. Phone calls were returned promptly and there were no problems with scheduling. I plan to have them back in the Spring of 2011 to create a relaxing area in my back yard for me and my hammock as well as an annual spreading of mulch and some possible shrub replacement (money-permitting, of course)."

Even with the extra repairs they still finished the job ahead of schedule, and on budget. The workers were very friendly and professional, and were quick to answer any questions that I had. I am having them come back in the spring to build a flagstone patio and firepit in my back yard."
