"I moved into my house last year and I knew the gutters had not been cleaned in a long time, and it seems like they did clean a lot of junk out. However, I thought their service could have been better than it was. I did not like that there was no true service window; they just showed up when they showed up, no option of receiving a call to let you know they are on the way so you can prepare if you're doing outside activities that may conflict with the gutter cleaning. I don't like that they said the service would likely be complete within a few days, but I had to call back a second time after a week to see if they could give me an update, and they couldn't. They just kept repeating "it could be as soon as tomorrow." They showed up a couple days after the second call. I didn't like that they left off a piece of my gutter guard, found it in a bush a few days after they did the job. I also had to re-clean my deck after they cleaned it because they left a fair amount of dirt on it from the stuff they were throwing down onto it. They did clean up, but it wasn't thorough. They left a dirty residue all over my skylights and some windows, too. I also didn't like that the information I'd communicated by phone when setting up the appointment, such as only having one working hose spigot on the house, was seemingly not communicated to the people doing the work. They rang the doorbell and asked me to turn it on so I had to explain that it didn't work. They then said that they did not have a long enough hose to finish the work, which I had also brought up when making the appointment and was assured they would bring all the necessary equipment. I had to borrow them a hose to connect onto theirs so they could reach. They also left a tag on the door that they didn't find any problems, but then I got an email saying that the foreman had found a problem and I needed to call them. I haven't called yet to find out what that problem is, but I'm pretty sure they're going to tell me something is clogged and they need to come back and route it out, which is an additional $195 charge. Communication is very important to me and is necessary to provide good service. My experience with Ned Stevens gutter cleaning was a bit lacking in that area for sure. I'm not certain if I would go with their service again."
