"When I called Leo, he came out to see my yard immediately. We scheduled a date and he stood by it. Him and his crew are nice, professional, reliable and fast. They were done with my yard ( but a big yard) in 3 days. We had a budget and we talked to Leo about what we wanted and worked with us. New Pavers and concrete patio could be expensive, he gave ours an overlay and it looks great. The new fence looks great , and our crab apple trees is gone. They went above and beyond . I still call Leo to take a look at my grass because I am new to caring for newly layered sod grass , and he still calls me back and came out to look at my grass. Even after the job is done he is still dedicated and cares about his clients. Thank you Leo and your crew!"

"Bernie was great to work with while setting up the project and his crew, led by Gus, did a fantastic job. We had few things done: - A fieldstone retaining wall along the driveway. Gus led the crew and he assembled the wall and did a wonderful job. The stones look dry-fitted from the front. - A new paver walkway and patio. Bernie helped with suggestions for the design and we ended up re-using our old bricks from the old walkway to create a border around everything. They then graded the yard up and around the patio to create a smooth transition from the level of the patio down to our uneven yard. - Pop up drains in the yard for all the downspouts that would have drained near or over a hard surface. - New fence posts to accommodate the wider walkway. When they were able to get to our house, it was very smooth and everyone working was professional. We also made some minor changes while the patio was in progress which the crew accommodated. After the end of the project we found one small paver that had developed a crack during the compacting process which Gus came back and fixed the very next day. We are very happy with the work that Macauley Brothers did at our house and intend to use them for future projects. I attached some photos right after the work was done and some more after the grass came in."

With the addition of the wall, it cost more than we had expected, but the slope of the yard made the wall necessary to have a level patio, so the additional cost was more than worth it. "I contacted Travers to have a chimney removed, some general demo (walls brought down to the studs) and a large amount of yard work (clearing a largely overgrown yard) on a home I recently purchased. With a large amount of work to tune up this house in a short window leading up to summer, time was of the essence. I spoke with Alex in their office several times leading up to the work. She was extremely helpful and responsive. She helped coordinate some of Mike's time for an estimate. While I initially called exclusively about removal of the chimney, the scope of the job grew after talking to Mike and understanding all the work they could do. After agreeing on full scope and price, Mike was able to schedule my job in on less than a weeks notice. I met the team day 1 at the house where they arrived right on time. All the guys on the team were friendly, professional and instilled confidence. I was shocked at how fast the progress was on the chimney. Day 2 the focus shifted to the yard while some of the team was still doing work in the house. They moved at break neck speed yet methodically and highly coordinated. They left after two days - There wasn't a single scratch on the old hardwoods I was hoping to preserve despite moving TONS of brick and mortar where the hearth once sat. They leveled the yard everywhere they removed trees and bushes with only patches of no grass being the only evidence work had even been done. They also patched the roof, somehow match up the pattern of a 20 or so year old roof so it appears a chimney never existed. I had never worked with Travers before and reviews online were the only reference I had to go on in hire them. I was cautiously optimistic they were the right company, but then they blew away my expectations! I will absolutely leverage them again for future jobs and strongly encourage others to call Travers as well. If your job needs to be done in a timely fashion and you want to maintain quality - this is the company to call."

"Mike and his team did a huge project for me and basically turned a dust-bowl of a backyard into a beautifully hardscaped courtyard and private space. They removed all the old plantings and dirt and disposed of everything. This alone was a major project. They then layed down ~800 sq ft of Cambidgestone pavers and did an exceptional job considering it was laid on top of my septic system and they had to accommodate for the 4 access covers to the septic tanks and leaching field. They added 4 larger sized tiles that matched flawlessly to the pavers and essentially disappeared into the pattern. They also did a stucco finish to my concrete block foundation, installed cobblestones around all the planters and completed the outdoor shower area. On top of that, all his guys were super polite and hard working and couldn't have been nicer to work with. They did amazing work and we couldn't be happier with the results. The price was fair and competitive."
