"Huskyfence did a great job! In addition to taking out the old fence, they also removed multiple rusting steel posts sunk in concrete which had been left over from a long-gone fence line. They were prompt, professional, fast and thorough, and communicated well with me and my neighbors throughout the process. I would gladly hire them again."

"

We have a great experience working with Evergreen fence and deck. They did an excellent job on our gates. Great attention to detail, workmanship and responsiveness. Dick came out to give us a quote for the job within a day. His quote was very competitive. He's very knowledgeable and honest. We planned to move one old garden gate toward the front of the house and have an additional gate made and install on the other side of the house as well. We noticed that small section of our fence is leaning so we asked Dick's opinion on it. To our surprise after he inspected the fence, he said he'd be happy to do it but it was an easy fix that we could do it ourselves if we want to save money. We said we'd love to do it ourselves so he gave us detail instruction of what we should do. That's what you call honest! Dick sent in the bid the next day and it was the most competitive bid we got for this job. And on top of that when we asked if we could use the 5% off from Angie's list, he said yes.

We schedule the work day and the crew showed up on time and ready to work. The two guys crew were very nice and attentive. They listened to how we want the gate installed. We told them we'd like the new gate and old gate to match (in gate style and decorated arbor) and wanted little gap between board as possible for privacy.  They made sure the post in location where we wanted and went over all the details to confirm before starting the job. Dick's son even found the decorated part to make the new arbor to match our old one from 10 years ago. The crew worked very hard all day and walked through the whole area with us when finished to  make sure everything was right. They did an amazing job. They even took time to saw the board to shape to our house siding to make sure they was as little gap as possible so no one can look through. And before they left they gave us some tips of how to maintain the gates. They also did great job cleaning up (no surprise screw or little piece of wood left behind). We'd use this company again in any fence & deck project. They're honest, responsive, fair price and do great work. Good people.

"I spoke with Randy over the phone and he came out the next day to give me a quote. The project was challenging as there were french drains and irrigation pipes to avoid while providing sufficient support for large gates. The gates over the grass had to open more than 90 degrees to clear the grass edges for edging. Randy sketched drawings and I accepted his quote. He provided CAD drawings the next day. His fabricator, James, came out later to double check some measurements and review the site to assure everything would be perfect. He and his helper installed the fence and gates about four weeks later. It was delayed a week due to rain. It came out beautifully. It not only looks great, but it functions even better than we had hoped. James spent hours on the installation making sure it was perfect. The recent rains made the area muddy, but he and his helper did a great job cleaning up. We are very pleased."

"They came out as scheduled and were able to complete the fence in about 3 days. It included setting posts in concrete and constructing the panels on site as well as two gates, one wider gate in line with outside gate for wheelbarrow entrance and the other narrower and on side close to sidewalk. They also installed wood boards under fence so critters including my dog are discouraged from digging under. Gates have nice latches including a wire loop on the inside to pull the latch open when exiting. I was very pleased with the result. They were respectful of the existing plants and raised bed rows taking care not to trample more than necessary."

"I called Stellar about the fence a few months ago and got an immediate response. The owner Micah was very professional and courteous, even though he had a hard time reaching me due to my work schedule. The initial bid came in very reasonable, but after actually visiting the site he had to adjust significantly upward because there was a rock wall along part of the fence line. This required him to remove some large rocks to pour the posts. His job schedule was pretty backed up and it took a few months before they were able to actually get this job done. However, when they did start the job, they were done in two days. One day to remove the old fence and set the posts, and the final day to install and clean up. I will give them a decent grade on clean up since it was pouring rain when they did the install, but there was a significant amount of mud on my patio, in my walk and yard. Having said that, it would have been impossible not to leave mud. I guess I wanted to see it sprayed off a little better. But to be fair, I didn't mention this to them, so they might have actually done more cleanup had I asked. They did a great job of removing the old fence and other surrounding debris. Finally, the fence looks fantastic. They used steel supports on the posts and allowed some clearance so the wood won't rot on the ground. The job was delayed a few times as we worked out the details, but again, Micah had a hard time reaching me and this might have taken less time had I been in closer contact with him. Based on the other quote I got, his was a bit above HALF of that. So I think Stellar was reasonable if not a great value. I don't like to give out A's because I don't have a large amount of info to compare it to, but ultimately I decided to grade on how I feel about the final result. My wife and I are very happy with the result, and will recommend Stellar to others. The Grade of B for price is because his initial bid was quite a bit lower than the final bid, but I believe the price was still actually very good for what had to be done, I just don't have anything to compare that with. The Grade of B for punctuality was given because the job was started 2 weeks after they said they would start on it."

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Bridal-veil, OR

Financial responsibility depends on where the fence sits. If it’s clearly inside your lot, you foot the bill. When it’s right on the property line, state laws—California and Illinois are two examples—usually require both neighbors to split repair costs equally unless you agree otherwise. Check your local rules before scheduling work so you know exactly what you’re on the hook for.

Start by walking the fence line and noting every issue—loose boards, leaning posts, cracked panels. Next, gather at least three quotes from licensed contractors, comparing experience, warranties, and costs. Once you pick a pro, they’ll secure materials, reset posts, and fix or replace damaged sections. A thorough inspection and a qualified contractor keep the fence safe and extend its life.

Straightening a leaning fence costs an average of $200 to $400. A fencing pro will assess the damage, reset or replace the posts, and realign the panels so the fence stands upright again. Fixing the lean early on prevents further strain on framing and keeps the structure both sturdy and attractive.
