"Do move your lawn stuff out of the way AND vehicles if you don't have a paved drive. The only weed-whack around things... nothing gets moved. Also, don't expect them exactly every two weeks (or whatever you agree on). This was my only complaint - being a creature of habit. He does call the night before he is coming, but I seldom check my phone. <br />"

"I found my handy mate from Angie's list. Jasson came to our house for a quote, which was very detailed. The price is fair without hidden cost. It took about three weeks to start the project. There were 1-2 contractors working on it every day, depending on their assignments. I provided the major materials including bathtub, vanity, mirror, tiles and their purchased the rest. The quality of the work looks great! <br />"

"TLB was prompt in responding to my call. He was out here in no time to clear out land for me, did the job well, was respectful while on our property, and left everything looking nice and clean. Couldn’t ask for better service! Thank you."

"Job went very well Brian Watson is owner came and gave estimates for work to be done . On day job was to be started he arrived with crew and head planter Carlo . They placed plants out for my approval before planting . I would recommend them . Brian has been there to answer any questions I have about the up keep and fertilizer for plants and sod . They are a little pricey but you get what you pay for !"

"The first time I called I had to leave a message. It took a couple of days for him to return my call. When he did call, I told him what I was looking at and the size of the driveway I wanted to pave. He said he would have to come to my house to see what it would cost. A week later I had not heard back so I called him again. He still had not been buy to look at the job. Finally he called back a few days after that and quoted me a price that was more than concrete so I went with the concrete."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Bridgeton, NC

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
