"I needed a landscaper because my lawn was a mess (more weeds and moss than grass, it seemed), and water was seeping into the basement because of improper gutter drainage and soil grading. Oh, and there was a critter, possibly the skunk that was seen in the area, burrowing underground where there was a gap near my patio – ugh! I hired M&L because the quote was reasonably priced, and Leo was responsive, understanding and cooperative as my landscaping project evolved. The job he ended up doing included building a trench for the gutter downflow, re-grading the entire lawn, creating flowerbeds, installing a fence, doing concrete work (to keep that critter out!), and paving a small section of the yard to hold trash and recycling bins. Leo and his team showed up when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently, and with the greatest attitude – all of them were hard-working and easy to deal with. I will definitely hire M&L again for future landscaping jobs, and I highly recommend them to others. My lawn now looks nice and neat, can't wait for the new grass to grow. Thank you, Leo and crew!"

We consider what we hired them for to be a complex and major project and they EXCEEDED every expectation as they did a beautiful and amazing job. First, they helped us with the design and it did not matter how many questions we asked, they answered them with a smile and a "can-do" attitude. Second, they sent the quote immediately and did not vary from the amount quoted, despite the scope of the work changing due to some issues relating to uncovered pipes and our existing sprinkler system. Third, the level of communication is outstanding and not something that we have experienced from any contractor that we have used in the past. They provided us with their cell phone number and they sent us text updates and allowed us to ask questions and communicate with them regularly. They did not delay in response. When it came to doing the work they started and finished when they said that they were going to, they are hard working and meticulous in making sure it was perfect and something that they were proud to put there name on. It was so good that we asked them if they could do a 50 sq. ft. pad of pavers in the front of our house so it would match the back of the house. After the projects they cleaned up after themselves and made sure we were 110% satisfied before they asked for the final payment. They were kind, respectful and wonderful to have around. "I was completely blown away by the work that we had done. Lisa, who was the designer was very attentive and quick to return emails and really put a lot of thought into my project. She always responded to emails within an hour and was very honest with me when it came to ideas that i had for the project. She provided a detailed drawing of my property with her ideas for plantings, stepping stones, etc. this made my life very easy by not having to imagine what she was thinking. PJ, who was the foreman on the job was also a great guy and on top of things. He always had my best interests in mind when giving his opinion about grading the yard and what would be best for my children, which was my highest priority. Walter was one of the workers who did a lot of the grading and he was also in constant communication with me. Walter and PJ came up with, and implemented a swing-set area that doubled as a retaining wall to bring up the grade on the lower side of my yard and it came out amazing. We had some irrigation issues at first because some areas were being over-watered. Nick, who was in charge of the irrigation came out to my house multiple times, after all of the work had already been paid for, to make sure that my timers were taken care of and the grass remained in tip-top shape. After paying in full, I still got immediate responses from all parties in this company and they provided immediate solutions within a day or two. They could have put me on the back burner to handle current customers, but they remained attentive to my needs. I plan to use them for cleanups and for all of my fertilizing. I highly recommend this company to everyone."
