"Excellently. He showed up to do the estimate at the time and date he said he would. He followed up with status when he said he would. He reconfirmed a few days before starting the work and completed the work within the estimated time and at the estimated price. His crew and he did an excellent job, and a neighbor requested that Brian do his house as well. His crew were professional and mature workers. We plan to use him on another house within our family within the next year or so.
"

"Mr. Haas identified problems in our roof installation and issued a report. He suggested re-install and steps that we should take to get it done. It was a long process that involved county and DPOR. Mr. Haas was very helpful every step during the entire process. He is highly experienced and very responsive to our calls, text, and email. We eventually got the roof reinstalled in a very good quality. Mr. Haas was onsite multiple times to ensure the right materials and methods were used. It would not be possible without the help from Mr. Haas."

"Although the project turned out to be more complicated and took longer than expected, this had little to do with
the builder or his sub-contractors. Primarily the delays were due to weather, financing issues, and poor
communications on the part of the town's code enforcement officer.
Let me address this last issue first. Everything seemed to be alright until the pad was poured. The code
enforcement officer was upset that she was not notified prior to the pouring of the cement so she could inspect
the forms and re-bar. This and quot;misunderstandingand quot; occurred because the CEO never communicated to either myself or the
contractor at what points during the project she wanted to perform inspections. However, from this point forward
the CEO seemed to question every aspect of the project. Demonstrating considerable restraint and diplomacy, most
of the time the contractor bowed to her demands (he was much , but drew the line at her trying to force him to
install a water shutoff valve in a location that would likely have caused our well pump to burn out. In this
case Greg Bragg stood his ground, backing it up with State of Maine statutes.
With respect to the weather, June 2013 was one of the wettest on record for Maine. As far as financing, the
magnitude and cost of the project exceeded what we had budgeted and we found out just how difficult it is to
secure financing for rental property, especially if you are setting up a used mobile home. Consequently, we had
to break the project into two phases.
The demolition of the old house and initial site preparation went very smoothly as can be seen in this 8 minute
YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWaJEgV2iJE).
Getting the mobile home onto the pad was a bit more interesting since the ground was still very muddy from all
the rain we received in June and July. Fortunately, Greg Bragg of Bragg Builders had the foresight to keep a
bulldozer onsite. As can be seen in this 8 minute YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioZ1IFl-3CQ),
the bulldozer was absolutely essential.
The only other issue related to Bragg Builders portion of the project was a ruptured water line. Prior to
constructing the gravel pad a brand new water line was installed and was even packed in sand to ensure rocks
would not rupture the line. Unfortunately, a rupture occurred anyway. Fortunately, the contractor promptly
installed a new water line, at no charge to us.
"

"We ended up going with a company referred by our contractor. They were more expensive but seemed to be in business longer. I would consider Atlantic Gutter for other projects.
"

"
Before re-roofing They covered my flower beds and ground around the house, brought in a dumpster/truck and then stripped off my roof shingles. They then cut out the roof and installed 2 new Velux Roof Windows (with installation kits, screens etc.), and shingled my vacation home using water/ice barriers, soffit vents and roof vents. I specified IKO architectural roof shingles. The job required releasing and reestablishing the supports for my chimney and vent pipe

They also protected my upstairs from dirt and dust, covering all furniture and vacuuming at the end of the job.

The job went very well: on time, on estimate and schedule. The yard and flower beds were completely free from shingle waste or pulled nails.

Some of the protection and clean up details were specified in the contract, but Troy's crews clean up the jobsite as a general rule.

Now, several months later after weekly rain storms, one dumping 5-inches of rain in one night, I am completely confident that the skylights are completely weather tight. There has been absolutely no sign of any problem.

I could not be more pleased. They came in on scope, schedule, and budget with no fuss or bother. It makes me wonder why I submitted to years tension and disappointment with other contractors.

The job was the second major project Troy has done for me in the last two years. I'm planning another project next year.

"

"They did a great job except for one thing. I have a pole in my front yard that holds a light. When I had that originally installed they attached it to the side of the roof. When they put the new roof in they had to momentarily detach the pole. When the contractor put it back they did not put screws in the pole, but instead they used nails. Soon after this snow pulled down the and broke the light. This was due to the fact they did not secure it with screws. I called them and they said they would come out and take care of it. This was last spring, and they are still giving me the run around. I keep calling them and they keep saying they will be coming out, but they have not done anything yet. They did a really good job on the actual roof. I am just getting tired of them giving me the run around. "
