"If you’re looking for a quality groundskeeping service, keep looking. I initially hired Jaime’s company to dethatch my lawn and maintain my property. I found they habitually neglected to remove all the dog feces, water the 5 potted plants, weed, or even trim the grass under the backyard benches. If trash blew into the yard, they would not pick it up. They left such an item for 5 weeks until I couldn’t take it any longer. After several weeks I asked when he was going to dethatch the lawn and he told me he charges $300.00 for this service and that it would require 6 hours. I scheduled it and prepaid him then watched as he left one guy to mow the lawn, not dethatch it. I sent him a text and he tells me he doesn’t have the equipment for dethatching. Gee, what am I paying for? I replied that they rent them for $45. at Capo Beach Equipment Rentals…the people who referred me to him. So he says fine but I have to pay for it. Talk about a bait & switch! Everybody knows you cannot dethatch a lawn with a dethatcher! This is work that he should have been done two months ago and now still done because Jaime lies. I terminated his service for this reason, and he could not have cared less…and therein you have the definition of JAIME FERNANDEZ LANDSCAPE SPECIALISTS. Actually in retrospect I believe if they could care less, they would. If you just want a mow & blow, any service can do that and not at the premium rates Jaime charges. I paid him 50% more than all the others I have hired in the past and feel like a fool for it now. If your lawn needs re-seeding he’ll probably ad the cost of a seed spreader. You’ve been warned."
