"Scott and his crew had made a bed for us in 2012. He put part of it on Verizon's landing spot after I told him not to.  It looked nice but Verizon complained and so I had to pay him more to remove the edge and reshape it.  Also in 2015 we contracted to build  a new bed along a chain link fence.  The area is low and needed to be built up.  I asked him to kill the grass before he began but he said it would die from the soil on top.  Well it didn't and now I have to contend with killing the grass among the shrubs.  Also he didn't make the bed deep enough and the wetness killed the shrubs so I have to have the bed made deeper and replace the shrubs. <br />"

"It was a little pricey, but cheaper than the competition. They competition was going to charge me $2000. The price was right at HOME DEPOT, so we went with them. It was a two man crew. They appeared to know what they were doing as far as putting the flooring down. The tiles are 1 foot by 3 foot sections. There is a glue strip on all four edges and they to overlap one another. I wasn't 100% happy because the guys have to come back to fix a seam that is coming apart. I think part of the problem was that the helper he had was a little new and there was a hump in the floor and the guy put a doorway trim right near that hump and it is lifting up one of the tiles. The man promised me he would be here tomorrow to repair it. It is the owner or group leader will come back to fix it. I will be 100% after tomorrow, when it is fixed. I had to pay to have a couple of appliances removed and they did what they were supposed to. I can't say they went over and above the call of duty. I would recommend them. It was almost a $700 savings doing the floor with this material. They came when they said they were going to come. They got it done in 4 to 5 hours. He did exactly what he was supposed to. They charge you $35 to measure your floor but when you order the flooring you get it back. They moved the appliance with care and there was no problem. We like the quality of the material. The guy said he had been doing this type of flooring for 20 years and it was obvious watching him. He did the floor very professionally."

"They showed up and removed trees that became a safety hazard after a wind storm. Had a response time of 45 minutes and had saws started within about 10 minutes. The price in my opinion was unbeatable. They also took a few dead limbs out of another tree that they seen while in the other tree that were unsafe also For just a few more dollars. Not to mention this was also a Sunday afternoon."

"They are a medium-sized, local family business. They are not huge or a national chain. I like to do local business. The staff is knowledgeable, very helpful and accommodating. Their prices are pretty good. They are not cheap and probably are a little bit towards the higher end. That's what they are known for, but they have a good product."

"When we moved into our home 4 years ago, we never dreamed we'd have such a hard time finding reliable lawn service. It's amazing how many contractors just don't show up! Franz has been amazing. Our lawn looks great week after week, and Karen, one of the owners, is easy to get in touch with and very responsive. Billing is straightforward and the crew are polite and professional. We love that they keep clients updated on social media regarding when they'll be in the area too. <br />"

"This is the 3rd time we have had Restorff's to do hardscape and landscape work in our yard and we still have nothing but good things to say about his business and the results we get. Things may not happen with him as quickly as the impatient may like, but if you relax and just let him run the show, you won't be disappointed. It's probably also a good idea to get on his schedule before March if you can."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Buffalo, NY

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
