"Very satisfied with the service given by BB. Tom was very professional and answered all of our many many questions. We don’t trust very easily, but Tom made the experience easy for us. No scams, honest work."

"The team at A&D Exteriors are fantastic. I originally claimed a deal from them for a roof maintenance package. Our roof is 11 years old now and thought it might need some. We also have had one minor issue and thought they would be able to fix it. When they came out, they determined our roof was in excellent shape and did not need maintenance. They showed us that our roofing issue is most likely actually an issue with our plumbing vent. They did not even charge us for the evaluation! Overall a great company and I would hire again with no hesitation!"

"I contacted R.K. Roofing to ask them to help with some minor roof repairs (gutters, vent stack pipe) and to ask them to assess the current condition of the roof. At every step of the way Jerry was responsive, communicative, and honest. He gave me an honest assessment of the roof's remaining life and didn't at all try to pressure me into any unneeded work - he and his crew also identified a small leak near one of the attic vents that could have become a much bigger problem and fixed it professionally and affordably. I will definitely go with R.K. Roofing again for my future roofing needs - no problems whatsoever, just a straightforward, positive experience from start to finish."

"For the first time ever, we now have a roof that does NOT leak, after preparation, priming and a roll-on treatment of a sealant over a three day period by SPU. Steve and crew were hard working, polite professionals and we would highly recommend them. Communication was good and the job was completed expeditiously. We would not hesitiate to hire them again!"

"Apex Exteriors, Inc, South Elgin, IL Replaced the roof on my home with new architectural shingles following a storm in March 2026 that caused wind and hail damage. They did an excellent job and am very satisfied. They were professional in every respect from start to finish. I would highly recommend Apex to anyone needing a new roof."

"I have had the pleasure of working with John Gallagher, owner, of Exterior Designers, Inc. (EDI) several time over the past twenty years. I first met John as a young new homeowner. We needed a roof and also were in the market to replace the outdated aluminum siding. I always begin a job with at least three estimates, and we were working within a budget. EDI was not the least expensive but was the only company whose owner (John) came out and explained what was needed and what was not. While the other estimates were eager to make the most of our service call, John suggested getting a layer placed over the original roof at a less expensive cost to us. He also advised it would probably last about seven to ten years. Additionally, while other contractors tried selling us high end siding (cedar), John explained that while cedar would look nice, it comes with a lot of maintenance and in reality, the neighborhood tended towards vinyl. Again, he could have talked us into a more expensive choice, especially since my taste and budget is not always in sync, however, he did not. He steered us towards the more economical choice. Our layover roof lasted 19 years without even one leak! That’s great craftmanship. And my siding looks as new as it did when we first had it applied. This summer when I decided to replace the roof in its entirety, I called upon John to do the job. Again, he came out and explained all the options. He does not attempt to sell the best product as many contractors do. Rather, he listened to what I wanted and steered me towards a mid-range quality roof with the architectural shingles I desired, while working within my budget. I highly recommend EDI as they are an honest, trustworthy business who provides quality work. I give them an A+. Thanks, John Gallagher, for another wonderful home improvement experience!!!"

"NextWave was a very professional company from start to finish. Everything went smoothly, from calling their main number to set up a quote, to discussing the pricing, and most importantly to the finished product they delivered. Expectations were exceeded, something that is seemingly rare these days. I would use them again for future projects."

"Our experience with Albar was very good.  We did a lot of research, and received quotes from 5 installers, all of which had good reviews from Angie's List.  Albar's quote was the lowest.  Their salesmen were friendly, informative, and low pressure.  The quote took about a week, but that was no problem for us.  The installers did an excellent job, even with less than ideal weather conditions, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done.  The office staff was friendly as well and did their best to accommodate our schedule.  We're very happy with our new windows and have absolutely no regrets in choosing Albar.
