I used a gravel base and a drainage pipe as recommended. The end result looks professional, and the wall has stayed solid after several storms. "In 2017, we hired Vinny from Direct Call for home exterior work including building a stone patio. They finished our stone patio in late December 2017. Next year, in 2018, as the weather warmed up and we were excited to use our new patio, we noticed that they had done a very poor job. As can be seen in the photos, the patio wall and columns have shifted away from the patio and are continuing to shift further and further apart. We have been contacting Vinny for almost a year now to get the problem fixed. He told us twice, on different occasions, that he would come to fix the patio in a couple of weeks- but never showed up. Now, he no longer responds to our calls or replies to our text messages despite the 5-year warranty on the masonry work that he provided (at our request) at the time of final payment. Their work began falling apart within a few months of completion. The condition of our patio is continuing to deteriorate; the columns are no longer standing upright, but have come to an incline and are ready to fall any day creating a dangerous situation. Vinny does not do quality work or honor his warranty. Our next step will be filing a complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. We will also be talking to a lawyer for legal proceedings."

With over 18 years of experience, Royal Pro Construction, LLC, provides top notch roofing and masonry at affordable rates. We work in all of South Jersey and are more than happy to make the time to help you renovate your home. We specialize in all forms of roof installations and repairs from shingle roofing to flat roofing as well. We also have exceptional brick and stone installers to create beautiful chimneys walkways, driveways, patios and steps.
"Work started to replace the roof which meant removing the cedar shakes. This makes a mess but they were great about protecting the interior and cleaning up. In the course of the roof repair Eric identified the water leak as cracks in the chimney. The entire 98 year old chimney and fireplace were replaced, excellent workmanship. Next on that was replacing the crumbing steps to the side entrance and changing the layout so that you could walk to the back or front of the house. Then a siding job with Hardie Plank cement siding was decided upon. One day into the job Eric discussed the need to change the work to include stripping all the old siding, putting down new plywood, then the siding. Now into winter weather I can say that the previous drafts inside the house during windy weather are no longer present. The house is much more comfortable. The siding work was excellent, the house looks like new. Finally it was recommended to have stone placed below the siding instead of the painted cement wall. That and redoing the patio and walkway with bluestone were done. Masonry work is outstanding. In summary I would definitely recommend this company. Eric has good ideas, is quick to recognize if changes are needed. You can expect quality workmanship done in a timely manner. If you have questions Eric will get back to you quickly. I would like to add that they are very good about clean-up when the job is done."
