"Juan and his helper did a beautiful job installing a limestone wall for my front yard flower bed. They also put dirt in and even drilled holes for drainage, which I'd never thought of. They were on time, prompt, and Juan always communicated what was being done, what should be done, and kept me updated on the timeline of the project. These gentlemen were outstanding. I would definitely use JCD and DF Services again!"

"Company was great! Honest estimate with full breakdown of materials and services. The removed old grass and prepped the yard giving the new sod the best chance to grow. Installed 4 underground pipes to reduce water runoff and took our idea for 2 paths and created a beautiful final result. Came out after the work was done to confirm everything was as expected and even came back shortly after address any questions we had. Will work with again soon."

"Hometown decking was amazing! They poured a concrete patio extension & came back to stain the old and new patio. Great Quality, communication, clean up & friendly staff. They did an amazing job, & Mike had the perfect fix for covering up blemishes that popped up when staining my old concrete. I highly recommend Hometown Decking, which is saying a lot as I am a very picky woman that grew up in a construction family and have high expectations. Thank you Hometown Decking!!!!!"

"Extremely well. Adrian, the business owner, ran a very efficient and well executed project, thanks in great part to his construction team. All involved were very good at their professions, friendly and punctual. At the end of the project they did a very thorough job of cleaning up the construction site. The project was completed in a timely manner with no glitches."

"First of all, I called a number of highly rated/recommended masonry companies and Senon's was literally the only one who got back to me in a timely manner. I don't know what is up with the other companies, but I was not impressed with the other guys right off the bat. Second, not only did Senon's respond, but they took a look a picture of an issue with my limestone exterior that I was concerned with (a crack in between some bricks), advised me that it needed to be fixed quickly (regardless of who we went with) because it could cause allow water to seep in. And they were able to work me into their schedule right away. Finally, their work was amazing, the new mortar matched the existing mortar perfectly so you couldn't even tell we had work done! And they were so nice. They charge a minimum, and because I had written off the other guys as crummy businessmen, I really had no idea if the price was fair or comparable. But I don't even care. Because their work was fantastic and they were quick, it was worth it to me."

"We talked with a few contractors to extend an existing rear porch and landscape our rear yard.  We started with a pretty good idea of what we wanted, but still needed expert advice.  Spicewood wasn't the least expensive, but they seemed to have the best understanding of what we wanted and offered a complete package.  We had a design in mind when we started and Spicewood seemed to have a good understanding of our desires.  The price was reasonable and we were able to get the plants and grass at wholesale cost.  We were extremely pleased with the flagstone porch.  It looks great and exactly what we wanted.  They did have to come back and re-caulk the area between the flagstone and the side of the house, but responsiveness on this issue was good.  The guy who did the sprinklers did a very good job and explained how the system worked better than the builder's explanation when we moved in.  He had to come back to adjust and replace one of the sprinkler heads, but he was also very responsive.  We thought we had a good deal on the landscaping and we did from a cost perspective, but we could have used better landscaping advice.  Their landscaper's suggestions didn't come close to our expectations and we could have used more advice on chosing plants and trees.  He pretty much left it up to us to decide.  It turns out we have a heavy clay ground that doesn't drain well and the flower beds and the area under the grass wasn't prepared correctly.  We've had to go back and redo a couple of the flower beds to save a tree and some plants.  Come spring, we'll have to see how the rest of the landscape survives. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Burnet, TX

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
