"On Saturday, May 31st, Geno Mitchell from Cornerstone Property Repair to give me an estimate for a 2-car garage epoxy floor covering. One, he brought his two children with him, one was 3 and the other 14 or 15. I asked about the price he stated 6500.00. I said that was too much. He brought it down to 4500.00. I asked how long it would take, and he said about 4 hrs, and l could come back in the garage and park. He went to the car and got his boys, then I knew something was up because l didn't see anything like cleaning products or anything. I'm not stupid; I know there is a process to do this type of work. He had his son type me up an invoice INV0005 dated 05/08/25 showing the cost of 4500.00. Nothing on that invoice stated anything about a down payment; however, he stated he needed a deposit of $1300.00 before he started the work. He kept asking me for cash. I was getting annoyed because he wanted cash. I finally told him l did not have that kind of cash in my home. I guess he eventually realized l was not offering cash. On the invoice, it did state 3% fee for using a credit card. If he had done the work that day, l would have paid the whole amount. After l gave him the credit card, I believe he called and got my balance. He told me he was leaving and would be back on which was June 1st, A Sunday. At the time of his leaving, l asked can l get my receipt for the $1300.00. He stated he didn't have any services and would send me a receipt. I told him l had wifi in my home and l didn't understand. I knew something was wrong, l asked for the confirmation number. He gave me some far-fetched number which l knew wasn't a good confirmation number. After he left, he sent me another invoice, INV0005, dated 05/08/25, and in the body of the invoice, it showed 1500.00. I was shocked. I asked him what the 1500.00 was for instead of 1300.00. All he said to me l will fix it tomorrow. I couldn't believe him. I immediately called my credit card company, and they told me there was a charge for $1700.00, not 1500.00 nor 1300.00. I was outdone. I texted him and l told him l did not want to do business with his company. He swore up and down he was going to fix it on Sunday, June 1st. I then decided not to talk to him anymore. I told my credit card company that it was a fraudulent charge and that they should not let it go through. I sent him a text and told him that Saturday night, because of the red flags and inconsistency in what he told me originally, l did not want to do any business with his company. The credit card company told me I needed to get an email or text stating that the service was canceled. I canceled when l told him l did not want to do business with his company. I guess the credit card company couldn't get in touch with him and put the charges back on my bill. As l was preparing to do this experience explanation to Angie's Geno Mitchell called me today and was talking crazy talk. Someone got in touch with him. He was telling me that l took advantage of him by stopping the charges on the credit card. He told me it was illegal to cancel a contract and not pay. I told him he never gave or sent me a contract. I have 3 invoices dated 5/08/25. The first two were one showing the 4500.00. Cost and the 2nd one were the same as the first; however, in the body of the invoice, it stated 1500.00. The dates were wrong on the first two invoices. The third invoice was sent to me on June 1st no invoice # or date. However, in the body, it showed 1700.00, and the balance was 3500. He tried to turn everything around. He told me l knew he was not going to do the work on Saturday. Yes, after he left and didn't do anything. He told me he was recording our conversation today, and when l told him he never sent me a contract and l never signed anything. He asked me what l wanted from him. I politely said I want you to refund my credit card 1700.00. He told me that because l canceled a contract, he was going to put a lien on my home. I told him to do whatever he needed to do, and l would see him in Court. Then I hung up. I did call Cornerstone Property Repair back in July, spoke with a so-called Codie. I asked if he, being the so-called owner of Cornerstone Property Repair, could send me a text or email stating that l cancel the services with his company. Code stated he was not the one who came into my home, and he couldn't give me a statement of cancellation."

"A sinkhole developed in our front lawn overnight. I hired Ashton Bosley, of A-T Solutions, who held himself out to be an "expert" at sinkhole repair. The cost, including sod was $2525. which was in the same ballpark as other estimates I received. Ashton pounded sand into the hole, and one week later it fell in again, and was worse than it was originally. A STERN discussion was required for him to agree it was not fixed correctly, and that clay should have been filled into the hole. He did fix it again, but refused to replace the sod, which was dead at this point, because when the hole collapsed again, they had to rip the sod off to fix the hole. When I texted him about fixing the sod, which was included in his contract, he said I'd have to pay another $455.00 to have it replaced. I'm disappointed that we had to deal with the sinkhole for an additional two weeks, and disappointed that I'm going to have to spend several hundred dollars more to replace the sod."

I ordered a pallet of sod, and they used gas powered skimmer to remove the grass down to the sand, then laid a layer of rich dark topsoil, and then installed some of the highest quality sod I have ever seen. They said it was cut that morning. This is a review from a happy paying customer trying to share with my neighbors a great contractor you can rely on that has a high-quality product. Hard to find. "The company charged $4000 for a pop-up drainage system to prevent flooding in my stand-alone backyard office. When heavy rain came, it was apparent that the system in place was not working, and despite multiple emails, no one responded for six months. When they did, they sent workers out to do the same job that was already done. They also told me that the system in place would not work and should never have been placed and in the end, recommended I hire an irrigation company, stating that they are not an irrigation company and, when asked about a partial refund since the system placed did not work, they refused. In short, I cannot recommend this company. Poor work, poor customer service."

"It went extremely well. Ismael very professional and all of his help were knowledgeable. Paid attention to detail in every aspect. Poured the slab, added a step go back door. Also pinned the slab to existing walls and stoop. Also put in pop up drain from downspout. Could not be more pleased with finished product."
