"I had several bids for my deck. RPM was the lowest bid, but that is not why I chose him. He really took the time to talk about exactly what I wanted. I'm a little picky about wanting to know details, and he was the only one who went into detail about how things would be put together. My last deck was basically slapped together in an afternoon with a crew of 6 guys. If you are looking for that type of deck, RPM is not your guy. Rick cares about the quality of his work. Edges are sanded, Railings and posts are caulked. The stairs are so solid! He hand picks the wood to ensure it's straight and of good quality. He added supports that were missing from the last build. The only delays we experienced were due to the unusual amount of rain we received this summer. He kept in contact with me throughout and didn't leave me wondering. Rick also presented a written bid with details - he is very professional.  I can't say enough about his work. "I didn't find them on Angie's List. They are a local company. They were very timely. They kept us up to date as they were putting it in. They just did an excellent job. A couple of winters ago we had a really bad ice storm and we had some trees come down. We had to replace a section of the fence and one of the gates. They did that and it just looks like new. I don't remember the amount because insurance paid for it. It was about 2 years ago. They were very friendly and very professional."
