"Clint is a sweetheart. He did a fantastic job expanding our driveway, and adding a path along the side of our house that leads to a large platform in our backyard that added. He is very detail oriented, moving sprinklers, adjusting downspouts, getting the form boards just right before pouring concrete, etc. He kept us up to date as to what was was going on, and was pleasant to chat with. I could tell from the first day he came out that he is knowledgeable and experienced. We chose to work with him over several other bids, one of which was a lower bid. It was totally worth it because of everything I've mentioned. He did an amazing job! I would definitely recommend him for any concrete work you need done!"

"We began with a need to demo, replace and widen our 57 year old driveway. We ended up doing a walkway down the side of the house, enlarged a small patio and extended concrete along the back of the house, including additional thickness and reinforcement for a potential future hot tub. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and Dillon's team was very experienced and hard working. They paid attention to minor details and were very accommodating to small items such as the shape of a curve or filling in or leaving out small boxed areas for plants. They also helped move sprinkler heads or capped them as necessary. I am also confident as to the quality and longevity of the poured concrete as they used special fiber for extra strength. Dillion is more than just a "concrete guy" - he provided solutions. The area outside the house is now going to be more usable and much more livable space."

"Was originally going to take two days to complete. But he brought extra guys with him and they finished in a day. When I got home from work everything was cleaned up. Couldn't tell anybody was ever here! Floor is beautiful, love my light fixture, didn't know he was going to prep the area for when I was ready to paint (nice surprise). And the garage door from the house into the garage is secure again! Worth every penny, and he called me the next morning to make sure that I was happy, and to see if there was anything else that needed to be finished or changed. "Bergstrom construction came out and initially did a bid. It took a few days before the bid came in. The cost was on point with the 2 other bids I received from other concrete contractors. I decided to go with Bergstrom due to their customer service and solution to the arbor post issue. Once I confirmed with the owner Bruce that I wished to proceed we set up a date to start. Unfortunately, a record heat wave hit Chico and Bruce stated he would not be able to pour concrete during the high temperatures. The following week I get a call on Sunday evening asking if they could start earlier than expected and come by the next morning. That wasn't a problem for me so I agreed. <br /> <ul> <li></li> <li>Monday morning they arrived around 9 am and began work. The guys that arrived worked cautiously around my landscaping and even moved a large section of gravel from an existing path to a new location (so I could use it elsewhere). After that was done, they remarked the patio area I wanted and used a bobcat to remove dirt and level the area. Then they formed the patio border and laid down a road base foundation and leveled that with the bobcat.</li> </ul> <br /> Tuesday morning they came back out and tamped down the foundation with a plate compactor and laid the steel cage for the patio, removed the existing post to the arbor, and set the new sleeve for the arbor post. <br /> Friday was concrete pouring day. They arrived about an hour later than scheduled but got the patio poured and finished. In addition they made a concrete bench with the leftover concrete that they gave to us. <br /> Over the weekend, I ended up placing the new arbor post in the new sleeve and attaching back to the arbor due to the heat and the fact that I had shade sails that I wanted to put back up. <br /> Monday mid-day they returned to remove the forms and clean up the area around the patio. They left my yard clean and back the way it was prior to the job. <br /> Overall I was very satisfied with Bergstrom construction and would definitely hire them for any future job. <br />"

"He is a very nice young man! He is accommodating and had some good ideas and suggestions. He was not expensive, his estimates were affordable but I had a few other problems arise and I couldn't' end up going with him. He did everything he could to give me what he thought I wanted, which I did, and I was disappointed that I wasn't able to have him perform the service. He brought me over a couple of different large samples. I told him about a restaurant who's floor I liked and he actually went to the restaurant and he was willing to make a sample of that floor for me as well. I do recommend that people talk to him before they decide on a concrete contractor! I have showed other people his samples and they liked them!"
