Gleyson Olivera from Vellox was the only company rep of all of the other 5 quotes I received who came to my home AND walked me around my house giving recommendations as well as listening to my concerns. The lead time was acceptable, the quotation was competitive and there were no "hidden" extras such as rotten wood add-ons. Also, Vellox was the only company to account for overhangs on my roof and bring the ice and water shield farther up the roof. All of the other companies missed this. On Top Roofing installed a ridge vent that the prior roofer only placed on the roof, re-flashed the chimney where prior roofer failed to install to match new rook lines, re-surface flat rook where prior roofer ignored. "I had a roof replaced on m detached garage including all wood. Also had a small flat roof replaced. Both were in bad shape and for the flat roof that I had to redo the joists and outer wood. I have used them twice now and in both cases they were very responsive to phone calls and was able to schedule both jobs very quickly. "I went with Ken because of all the roofers I spoke to, he was the only one that wanted to address my concern about attic ventilation.  All of the other roofers just wanted to slap shingles up.  Ken, on the other hand, actually looked inside the attic and came up with a plan to get better ventilation in the attic.  With the winters we've been having, I wanted better ventilation to help mitigate any issues with ice dams.  His plan was to open up the soffit along the whole front and back sides of the house and put in a perforated material to allow much more ventilation than the small vents every 8 or so feet that I had.   Ken also had no problem pulling back the siding by the dormer windows and shed dormer because there was no flashing.  I even asked Ken if he could go overkill and use 12' of ice and water barrier from the bottom of the roof.  All of my concerns were addressed and I felt comfortable letting Ken's crew do the work. <br /> I am pleased with the work done.  The roof/skylight was complete in one day, but everything else took a little longer than expected.  I had asked to have the siding by the dormers to be pulled back so that flashing could be put in place.  I had issues with leaking by the dormer windows because there was no flashing.  However, apparently my siding was a non-standard size and had to be special ordered.  This delayed the process for a bit.  Now the work is complete, and I'm happy everything turned out great! <br />"

They came and installed my skylights in one day on a steep pitched front roof. They did an excellent job of matching up the tiles they had to replace on my roof. In addition, Connell installed a new gutter and downspout system replacing our 20-year old LeafGuard system with new covered gutters by Leaf Relief. Chris Kent, the salesperson, sat down with us during the contract process and explained the entire process, the types of materials, and warranties. He was very professional and informed and answered all our questions during the meeting and follow up emails. Zach Tentoni, managed the installation, and was very detail oriented, ensured compliance with the contract and expectations, and was on site during the installation as well being available by phone in case we had questions or concerns. Zach’s workmen including Mike, Curtis, Matt and Sammy were excellent, very accommodating and more than willing to answer any questions or concerns we had during installation of the roof and gutters. They were ver efficient, produced a quality product, and cleaned up well after the jobs were done. Zach performed a walk around upon completion. It was made clear that if we had any issues or problems post-completion, Zach was prepared to send members of his team back in to repair or fix anything that might occur.
