After our first appointment, he gave me a very detailed, itemized estimate of the work he recommended to fully waterproof my basement (sidewalk and french drain on one side, regrading the other). In total it was more than I wanted to spend right now, so I opted for just the sidewalk. He was able to schedule the work fairly quickly. His crew was prompt, professional, and fast. They did the demo and had the framing up in less than a full day, and poured the concrete the following morning and were done by lunch. It looks fantastic and is keeping that side of my basement dry. "I bid approximately 10 different people across three categories: landscapers, contractors and masons. The landscapers were stumped given it was structural and it was graduated (grew from small to tall). The contractors were very matter of fact as were most of the masons; demo it and build it with this one brick style that they were accustomed to using. Scott came out and was very self-assured as to how he was going to tackle the project and he explained how he was going to do it and why. Prior to this however, on the phone, he sent us to his website to check out all the retaining walls he had previously done, both structural and more for esthetic purposes (my words) I will say. After he explained his approach, he then got out his brick catalog and gave us a couple of options then he would recommend. Then, he saw that we had a large tree nearby and recommended that perhaps we might want to go with a smooth vs. textured stone so that all the sap and other tree droppings wouldn't cling to the brick. This is the type of attention to detail that Scott brings to the project. He was right on budget, his team was very pleasant and very nice, and they were very clean when they were done. I would use them again in a minute. I am not sure that there isn't anything with stone that Scott hasn't done. <br />"

"Was very pleased with the overall result of New Again. I submitted dimensions and pictures over the website and received a very competitive quote. After stripping the deck there were a few more boards where some rotting was identified and Barak and his team replaced them promptly. Stain looks great and made an immediate difference. I had been contemplating if my 20 year old deck was too far gone and needed replacing... but after seeing what Barak could do with stripping the old paint off, replacing some bad boards, and staining... I'm very glad I chose to do this rather than replacement."
