"AAA+++ Just Fabulous! I met Pro Tech Senior Project Manager Nathan Knopp at my home after a terrible hail and wind storm struck my community on Lake Pulaski in Buffalo, MN this summer. Nathan was professional, courteous, respectful, fast, efficient and very easy to work with during the entire process of the work that Pro Tech did for us - Damage Assessment, Insurance Claim Submission / Estimate / Approval, Roof Shingle and Gutter Selection, Scheduling Work, Managing the Work Process and Follow-Thru. Nathan Knopp was very* well versed on how to best interface with our home insurance company and was able to fast track a claim to them using their own claim submission app / process. As a result, we were able to get our roof repair expedited which suited us perfectly. Pro Tech is a Platinum Partner with Owens Corning which means we were able to do a wholesale level upgrade on our shingles to TrueDefinition Duration Designer Level shingles and we decided on the Merlot pattern/color. Our materials and crew showed up as promised and the work was done fast and efficient and passed inspection with the City of Buffalo easily. With Nathan Knopp's guidance and support, we were also able to upgrade our gutter guard to a style/manufacturer that is better suited/engineered to our steep roof pitch for our designer lake home. I have to say that working with Nathan Knopp and Pro Tech was easy and very informative and my wife and I feel that we came away from this experience with not only an upgraded roof and gutters, but with a lot more understanding of how the roof and gutter system in our home works to protect our home from the elements. "Preston Schmidt works alone and works harder than I can describe! He gently power washed each cedar shake on our large and complicated roof. It was early October in Minnesota, so he worked from 10 AM to 5 PM for two days on the cleaning, replacing about 6 shingles. Preston had to use lots of safety precautions while washing the roof. The roof had to thoroughly dry before he could apply the seal coating. Nature did not cooperate as it rained every day for a week. However, when we finally had two days of sunny dry weather, Preston finished the seal coating. The roof looks fantastic!"

"I've used gutter maids for the last couple of years, whenever i need gutters cleaned, they are out within a few days. They do an excellent job and get on top of my roof with a leaf blower and hose to ensure the gutters are completely cleaned out. They even found a wasp nest once and removed it for me while they were working on the gutters. I should have been using them years ago instead of dealing with ladders and power lines."

"Once they have your 30% down the communication takes more effort on your part. The crew shows up on time, but they don't leave until 9pm. 14 hrs of banging away is a bit much; a glass fell from the cupboard and broke and some of my ceiling finish is now on my carpet, the home is only 13 yrs old. They have not cleaned up after each day and their materials and equipment are left strewn on my lawn, nor they have not protected my plants as promised. Let's just hope the roof installation is actually water tight. <br />"

"Water from ice dam leaked through my dining room windows/wall which is on the back side of my house. Thor raked snow from front and back roof. He steamed away all of the ice dams from the back roof/eave.. This was my main concern. He also removed most of the ice dams from the front of the house. The price I paid was for 2 hours of work. After 2 hrs of work was completed, we discussed whether I wanted him to continue and finish up the front eaves. He thought it might take 30 minutes. He also said that he had steamed the ice so that remaining ice would likely melt safely. I paid for 2 hours work. He explained his procedures and costs. If there was a mess, he cleaned it up. Very personable."
