"Firstly, the crew arrived with a ladder and leaf blower. I assumed they would have the necessary tools to ensure a thorough and clean job as their website shows a very different approach but it became apparent that they were ill-prepared for the task at hand. As they proceeded to clean the gutters, the leaf blower was their tool of choice. Instead of efficiently removing debris from the gutters, the leaf blower sent a array of gutter remnants flying everywhere. This resulted in a complete mess, with debris scattered all over the sides of my house and even onto my car. In the end, I had to spend additional time and effort cleaning up the mess left behind by Monroe Gutter Cleaning. This not only defeated the purpose of hiring professionals but also left me regretting my decision to choose their services. I strongly advise anyone considering them to think twice and perhaps look elsewhere for a gutter cleaning company that takes pride in their work and respects their clients' property."

The only part of the roof on the building it was flat the house was built in 1957 He came in and talked to me about the repair and my concern about flat roof and i was worried about it leaking again. So he told me why the way he was going to fix it would reproof against leaking and he went ahead and did that. It was difficult because it was 30 feet up but he came and he did an excellent job and its never leaked since but I was up on the roof, at least six months after it was repaired I noticed that part of the flushing around the vent it looks like its starting to come up called him and he came in quickly within the day. He went ahead and repaired it and ever since then it has been perfect. Never leaked."

"Crew of 7 worked 7 am (dawn) to 5 pm (dusk) in early December, hard-working & smooth working team, with foreman on site + project manager that checked in daily. Foreman checked in with me regularly as work progressed. Founder of this longtime family business came at the end to review job and receive payment. Removed old roof, replaced plywood underlayment, flashing as needed. Found source of ALL the leaks, installed flashing where it had been missing to prevent future issues. Looks GREAT!. Minor issue: quality of wood trim that had to be removed & then replaced; needs carpenter skills, not a strong part of their skill set, so I will have that upgraded in the spring."

As the saying goes, the fish rots from the head down and this group of liars is a textbook example. I’ve been either lied to, or misled by, every person I interacted with at “5 Star Improvements”. Starting at the head of the fish with an owner who said “all of my guys are certified” (and then schemed with the worst project scheduler I’ve ever dealt to send an email to me with a fake training certificate attachment (that the installer never saw before!)); to the person who answers the chat line (“I can’t answer that online, I’ll forward it to the office and we’ll get back to you”); to a receptionist who deceived me into thinking I was complaining about the company to a Jacuzzi Bath Remodel employee; to yet another employee who told me the owners were not in the office (“they’re both out of office and at a conference tomorrow”) when I demanded to talk to one."
