"The first time I hired Quintana Roofing was a few years ago to troubleshoot a roof leak. Since then, I have hired them to clean some roofs, another time to remove a chimney that was no longer needed (replacing the area with roofing), and still another time to re-flash a chimney where leaking had occurred. I would rate their work "A" for all jobs. Fidel Quintana is meticulous about his work and uses only high quality materials. He is especially knowledgeable about installing chimney flashing. This job went without a hitch. I am a residential real estate investor/manager. Finding an honest and reliable roofing contractor for re-roofing, roof cleaning, and repairs is very valuable."

"<p>This was a big deal purchase. They did not do a very satisfactory job; I was not satisfied. I asked specifically to make sure the white beam is clean and they did not do that. Four or five weeks into it and I have a feeling the roof was not cleaned right. They did not do a good job. </p>"

"He and his crew removed the old roof and installed a new one. Due to the harsh environment (high winds, salt air) extra stainless steel nails were used. Phil took time to explain coastal roofing challenges and used pictures of our roof to show us the existing condition. Workers were safe and polite. Work area was left in good order each day; project was completed promptly and looks great. After a big wind and lots of rain, gutters drain well and the roof is secure and well sealed. I would like to emphasize the importance of using a roofer who is familiar with coastal conditions. Our previous roof tiles were in good condition, but the wrong nails were used and therefore deteriorated prematurely."

"Isaac Roof put on new roofing, flashing, roof vents, relocated a vent hose, replaced some wet plywood and spread moss kill on my shop roof. I was so impressed by Hector and his crew! They were consciousness of many plants we have all around the property, the lawn was covered with plywood were they walked, they asked were to park the dumpster and they were all polite, quiet and hard working. They tore off the old stuff one day and installed the next day and a half. They were fast! The roof looks better than the original roof did when it was new. They used extra flashing on each row of shingles around the sky light were we had only one piece that leaked last time and extended the top flashing further away from the skylight as you can see in the picture. i have referred them to our kids and will highly recommend them again."

"I was skeptical about the repair locatuion but waited for some subsequent heavy rains but no further leaks occurred and I <br /> have now repaired the ceiling damage. Dave was correct for which I grateful, especially for his prompt response <br /> when 2 other roofers refused to respond. I have contracted with his company for roof cleaning. <br />"

FAQs for roof cleaning service projects in Cannon Beach, OR

To find a reputable ice dam removal company, check verified customer reviews and ensure they have the proper credentials. Look at online testimonials and consult reputable agencies like the Better Business Bureau to validate their service record. Contact the company to ask about their experience, hourly rates, and safety practices. This helps ensure you're hiring a pro with proven expertise and a solid track record to protect your home from ice dam damage.

Ice dams can cause extensive damage that jeopardizes your entire roof structure. They can lead to issues like attic condensation, broken roof sheathing, persistent leaks, visible wall water stains, mold in your attic insulation, sagging drywall, rotting attic framing, and roof collapse. This damage compromises your home's integrity and requires immediate professional attention to ensure proper repair and safety.

Most insurance policies don’t include coverage for the removal of ice dams since it's considered preventive maintenance. However, damage caused by ice dams—such as roof collapse, extensive water damage, or structural failures—may be covered by your policy. It's a good idea to contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams. Use a proper roof rake from the ground or a safe ladder—never climb onto an icy roof. Also, consider addressing any inadequate attic insulation that may cause heat leakage. Promptly clearing snow minimizes risks and helps maintain a safe, durable roof.
