We had several roofing companies come by and check it out and by far T & G Roofing gave us the most comprehensive description of what needed to be done, how they were going to do it, and what it was going to cost us. Mike Cernile came to our home for the inspection, and had the quote back to us within a couple of days. He was very good at describing what was wrong with the current roof and what would be required to re-roof the home. He was the ONLY person among all the companies we talked to who described where the trucks would need to park and what damage that might cause to our yard, which my wife and I were very thankful for as there were no surprises the days the crews came to do the work. The tear-off was over in less than a day, and the roofing crew was there the very next day to start the work. The entire project was completed quickly and efficiently, with all the work being permitted and inspected. We are very satisfied with the roof we received from T & G."

"I was looking into replacing my 20+ yrs tile roof to the Tesla solar roof but after months of waiting (I pre-ordered the solar roof and it was stuck at the design phase), Tesla told me that they no longer serve my area and refunded me the money. As I was looking for an alternative, I came across GAF's solar shingles and I was very interested in them. Guardian Roofs is GAF's certified installer in SoCal area. Larry from Guardian Roofs reached out to me within a day after I filled out the "Request for a Quote" form on GAF's website. Told me about their company and we chatted about my needs for the new roof and solar system. Within the next few days, he sent me a proposal, explained every single detail to me carefully and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. He truly enjoy working with Larry because he would find out the answers for any questions he wasn't able to answer on the call and actually called me back and explained them to me thoroughly. I called/emailed six roofing companies/contractors, only four responded within the first week with a quote. The quote from Guardian Roofs was the second lowest (cheaper than Tesla's solar roof). The other three quotes were traditional solar panels and reroof using the existing tiles. I quickly decided to go Guardian Roof's quote not only it's much cheaper than Tesla's solar roof, but their panels also looked much nicer than the traditional ones. My only concern was that without the space between the rack and roof, how would the heat generated by the panels being released? I asked Larry this question and he explained to me but I didn't quite understand, so I asked the owner, Justin, the same question during the installation and he explained to me by showing me the actual products. Turned out the combination of the underlaying sheet, GAF's Timberline Shingles and the actual panels were playing a big part in handling the heat. The installation took a week to complete. I'm very pleased that the owner himself actually came out a couple of days and climbed on the roof to make sure everything was done correctly. He was also there to answer all of my questions about the job. Additionally, GAF sent a technician from the San Jose headquarter to oversee the installation of the panels. Not the mention William (the lead installer from Guardian Roofs) and his crew did a great job cleaning up the area after the job was completed."

"This is the second time I have used Robert Sappo Construction. The first time he totally remodeled a bathroom, which was a great all around experience for us. This time Robert and his outstanding assistant Alonzo, installed a ceiling fan in a 20-foot high ceiling. This was a little tricky since he had to run electricity to the fan and there is no attic or crawl space. So he figured out how to run the electricity (invisibly) up the exterior wall and through the ceiling itself. Turned out great. <br /> Next they demolished an existing small window and installed a new sliding door. This involved reframing, restuccoing, and re-sheetwalling. The end result after painting is a door that looks like it has always been there. A great addition. <br /> Finally, they put in a new small window in our extra bedroom. This one had to exactly match the existing window, which it does. Again the finished work looks like it has always been there. <br /> Robert saw to every detail down to the paint and finish work. In fact, Robert went with us to order the sliding door and new window. They were always on time and cleaned up before they left everyday. Robert was almost always here and did much of the work himself. The few times he let Alonzo work on his own (paint and stucco) he still checked in before and after. (Alonzo's work is top notch, by the way.)  This was as painless as remodeling can be. The work is very high quality. I will definitely use Robert for any remodeling I need done in the future. <br />"

"We have had 4 roof repairs in the past 2 years. They were by far the best roofers. We have had 3 roofers out and they were the best so we have had them out twice. We have some kind of leak. It never rains here so you get a roof repair done and it doesn't rain for a year or two so you don't know if it is fixed or not. At any rate we had major rains here, and suddenly there was water coming in under the flooring around the fire place and the door. It has ruined the floor. We didn't know exactly where the water was coming in from. It was the chimney sweep who identified what he thought was some of the issues. When LA Rocque came out they advised on some things that we think might resolve the problem and we did re roofing all around the chimney, so we will see. I am pretty confident that they were both trouble shooters trying to figure out the problem and where they leak was coming from. They say they come at a certain time. They were actually a half of an hour early. They are clean, they pick up after themselves. You can just see the work, it is very very good. It was exactly what they quoted."
