"Ten tree trimmers worked on our Ponderosa Pines and took out a few scrub oaks. The men on the ground used saws attached to long poles and the ones in the trees climbed clear to the tops -- fun to watch. I hadn't realized how much dead wood we had in our trees; they look wonderful now. The crew picked up all the branches they cut, other branches that were on the ground before they came, and even some piles of pine needles.
