"Fantastic My wife and I were having a very difficult time finding a local outfit to replace our leaking roof before winter fully set in. The quotes we received for a spring job were very high. I called Tim at Black Ox thinking he would be too far away or also fully booked. I was surprised to hear back that he would be able to get it done before the winter and his quote was much more reasonable than the larger outfits. In short Tim got the job done when he said he would and at the price quoted. He saw that we would need some additional insulation and simply got that done as well. He and his crew were here and gone in a shockingly few number of days, even working in bitter cold. The roof is spectacular and the house so much warmer. It was almost as if they were never here and this perfect standing seam roof magically appeared almost over night. I assume he is able to do this because he does one type of roof only and because he spends all day at work in the field. Do not expect lengthy conversations with Tim. If he says he will get it done at a certain time at a certain price he will. Send in your deposit and be patient. Tim is a very busy man and actually up on roofs working rather than on the phone or computer chatting. It is refreshing to work with someone in such a straight forward manner, but you must trust him. In return you will have a beautiful new standing seam roof of the best materials, perfectly installed by a master of the craft, at an unbeatable price. We can recommend Black Ox without any hesitation and feel very lucky to have discovered this treasure."

"I began contacting Clayton & Sons in the summer of 2020. After my contractor was unable to do my roof. He recommended Brian and Tim without hesitation. When I called them, they both came out, looked over the job and got back to me quickly. The price of building materials was rising and I put the job off til 2021. they came back out, and re -did the quote (NO increase!) I asked for a little more time for building materials to stabilize (price-wise). I spoke to them again in Sept, Clayton and Sons said they'd be out in Oct. Materials were delivered to me during the second week of Oct, and they had 2 crews (8 guys) here the following Monday. They did have two rain days that they couldn't work, but finished the job by coming in on a Saturday! The guys were polite, did not blare loud music all day, and left the jobsite spotless. My wife and daughter are working from home and they said there was no swearing or messing around! There was another roofing contractor who came highly recommended, but I had to wait over a month for a quote, and the quote was 25% higher than Clayton! Professionalism was top rate, the work done was excellent (above and beyond what I asked or expected), responsiveness was within a day or two of me calling, and the price was considerably lower than their competitor! "I have had several jobs done on my house by OIC. I had my cedar siding removed and replaced with Hardie Cement Board siding. The recommended Hardie process was followed on how to properly install the siding. I also had the cedar railings on my deck removed and replaced with composite railings. This also involved replacing trim deck boards. Another job was pine paneling my Great Room Ceiling. For all three jobs, the guys were very professional and accommodating of schedules They did a great job of cleaning everything up at night and at the end of the job."

We got some other estimates and they were the most reasonable. We asked and received a copy of his liability and workmans comp insurance. I called to be added to his work schedule and he told me he would get the job done by the end of the week, and it was just as he promised, and he got the job done faster than expected so the bill was half of what he quoted on the estimate! <br /> If we ever need roof ice and snow removal again, we will not hesitate to call Dwight and sons."
