"Courtesy of Hurricane Idalia, my yard was its own disaster area. I had parts of trees hanging 20’ in the air, partly attached to other trees. I had trees that were now leaning precariously towards the ends of my house, and I had probably six trees on the ground. Jamie and his crew spent the entire day taking care of all the trees, downed limbs, took down three trees leaning over my house, and did so for an exceptionally fair price. In fact, after discussing hurricane losses with several of my friends, I found that LFG Tree Services was a much better rate than any other that either contacted me or any that my other friends used. I recommended Jamie and his crew to several of my friends while he was still in our area, and, to me, that’s the greatest recommendation I can make!"

"Pro tree service did a remarkable job! We are extremely pleased with their technical skill and professionalism in removing trees from our property. Brian is the owner. Anthony (Antonio) is his chief business partner. They use Google Translate to communicate Spanish to English and English to Spanish. They climb trees and use chainsaws ropes and pulleys to Cut branches limbs and tree trunks and lower them to the ground. They organize tree debris in neat piles and remove the piles promptly. They exercise safety and caution and work as a team with up to six or seven men. Also, they grind the stumps and spread the wood chips to eliminate an unsightly hump of wood chips. They use equipment like bobcats only to pick up heavy tree trunks, limbs, and bundles of branches, to place them neatly on the curb for removal. The lawn was only slightly compromised with the equipment tracks. They removed three large trees with age ranges from 110 years to 150 years old. The trees are also very close to housing structures, within 10 feet! The trees had overhanging branches above the roofs. Brian and Antonio, Using only ropes and their technical skill, remove the branches limbs, and tree trunks with no damage to the buildings at all! Quite remarkable to watch them perform their professional skills high in the air! We are pleased and excited to have Hired them. Mary and Milton B., Garden District, Montgomery, Alabama."

"I had a LARGE ( approximately 45 foot tall +/- 5 feet) pine tree that I needed to be removed. It was close to not only other trees and mail box it was next to a power line. The power company kept one side cut down but never touched the other side. This in turn cause the tree to be heavier on one side compared to the other. Mr. Jones came in and climbed the tree removing branches has he went. This in turn made a smooth way to fall the tree. He was on time, done an amazing job job in a short period of time, at a very fair price. If I ever need another tree taken down I will be using HAVE NOT TREE service. I would and will be recommending them to all my friends that can use this service."

"B&H cut down two very large pine trees in my yard this week and did a fantastic job. Braden and his team arrived when they said they would and got right to work - first digging up the plants in my flower bed we had agreed would need to be moved for them to get the machine needed to remove the large log sections as they cut the trees down into my yard. The process of cutting down trees 75 to 100 feet tall without a crane requires a good deal of effort and skill. This is obvious even for a complete novice like myself. Braden and his team worked steadily through the day and into the early evening to get the two trees down and grind out the stumps. The early evening work involved clearing the worst of the debris and addressing the divots that inevitably result from felling sections of a large tree. Courteous, personable, knowledgeable, timely, skilled...who could ask for more? I am very pleased with the service provided by B&H Land Clearing and Tree Services. I would hire them again."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Centreville, AL

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
