"We had the house cleaned in two stages. Two ladies came the first time to deep clean the downstairs including the disgusting kitchen. They were in and out in four hours and the place looked great. I thought the fridge was almond colored. Turns out it's white! They came back yesterday to clean the second floor which was not as disgusting as the first floor. In two and half hours they had the bathroom glistening and the windows shining. Cannot say enough about what a great job they did both times."

"Rick the owner cleaned my windows inside. I left for work and came home to sparkling windows. I did have one concern with two small high windows. I called Rick and he immediately apologized for my having to call him. He then came back to see what I was seeing, which turned out to be a problem with old window film, not the cleaning. However, Rick was very professional in handling the situation, which is less common these days. I will DEFINITELY use them again!"

"These guys were truly exceptional. We were hesitant to even get an estimate from them because, since all they do is lighting, we figured they would be significantly more expensive than a landscaping company. We were wrong, they actually came in lower than both quotes we got from landscapers. I would say that they gave us a fair price, simple as that. The work they did was incredibly artistic. They have it down to a science and they nailed everything we asked them to. They came back out twice to make minor adjustments in a reasonable amount of time, and would have come back as many times as we needed. One thing to note, their fixtures all have lifetime warranties. You simply will not get anywhere near that from a landscaper. The wiring they did in the garage where they placed the control panel was immaculate. Totally professional looking. The installer was really approachable, wanted us to be happy (you could tell). This company does a demonstration at your home before you agree to anything, and I highly recommend that. The project in its permanent state looks better than the demo but it really gives you an idea of what they can do and what it is like to work with them. Can't recommend them highly enough. If you're doing a lighting project, make sure you call them. <br />"

"Andrijana is fantastic, and I would recommend her to anyone considering hiring a home stager or decorator.  A couple years ago, she staged a home we were selling---it was so beautiful when she was finished, to the point that I regretted not making any of these changes sooner, so that we could actually enjoy them! Our house sold very quickly, in a terrible market, thanks to Andrijana's work.  When we purchased a new home recently, I called her to help me redecorate.  She listened to what we had in mind, she stayed within our budget, she was responsive and professional through the entire process.  She chose paint, window treatments, lighting, furniture---and as we approached the end of our budget, she used what we already had in the house to rearrange and make things look fresh and new.  She is the absolute best--I have worked with other interior designers, and working with Andrijana is like working with a trusted friend.  I am already looking forward to working with her again on upcoming home improvement projects!"

FAQs for holiday lighting add or remove projects in Chagrin Falls, OH

If climbing ladders or handling wiring isn’t in your comfort zone, hire a pro. Look for installers who post clear per-foot or hourly rates, carry insurance, and have solid reviews. Comparing at least three quotes helps you spot fair pricing without sacrificing safety. Skipping credentials to save a few dollars can cost you far more in repairs, so pick a qualified team and enjoy a safe, eye-catching display.

Yes, booking between February and September often scores lower rates because demand is light and pros have open calendars. You might even negotiate a discount package that includes removal or storage. If the budget is tight, ask whether a handyperson or an off-season permanent-light install makes sense for your home and timeline.

Determining the number of holiday lights for your house depends on your home’s size and specific decorative vision. Your project requires 10 to 20 light strands for a basic exterior display, with 100 lights allocated for eaves and an additional 10 to 20 bulbs for each awning.

For trees and substantial shrubs, allocate five to 10 strands per unit to achieve complete and balanced illumination across your property.

Tipping isn’t mandatory, but it’s a nice way to thank your installer for a job well done. Most homeowners offer 10% to 20% of the total bill or round up to an even figure if the crew exceeds expectations. A small extra goes a long way toward showing appreciation—and may help you snag priority booking next season.

Yes, you can install holiday lights yourself if your property layout is straightforward and your electrical system is secure. Homeowners who are confident in their ability to safely handle wiring and use proper equipment can save money with a DIY approach.

However, it is crucial to test all outlets thoroughly and secure the proper ladders and safety gear before starting. Careful planning and adherence to safety guidelines are essential to protect yourself and your home while achieving an attractive display.

Start by clearing the area of loose debris, damaged shingles, and anything that could trip you up. Test outdoor outlets and, if you’re unsure, bring in an electrician. Use a sturdy extension ladder (or scaffolding for very high spots) and never work alone—having a helper steady the ladder is non-negotiable. Taking these simple steps keeps you, your roof, and your new lights safe.
