"We hired Rick Page to install grass block pavers on a vehicle easement used by 4 property owners. Rick was easy to work with and a good communicator. The work was done quickly, and the pavers look great!"

"We went to Omnipro for our patio and retaining wall. Greg was super helpful and very easy to talk to! It was nice seeing all the different blocks and pavers before making our purchase. I highly recommend you stop in and get your project started! My backyard looks amazing now!"

"Brian came over after we had talked with several contractors about a concrete porch underside (in basement room) and one of those contractors made us think the concrete was in such a bad state of "imminent failure" that it needs a full replacement. So, while we continued to get quotes for a full replacement, we also asked a retired architect friend to give his opinion. He did not think concrete was so bad and he was glad we were having a structural engineer (Brian) coming over a few days later. Brian explained why he did not think the concrete was in need of full replacement (very expensive!) and also the damage was not a foundation/structure integrity issue (not "imminent failure"). We had spoken to several contractors and the cost to fully replace is upwards of 15-20 thousand dollars. From the state of the concrete, Brian did not believe the "symptoms" warranted a full replacement and that the more likely issue was simply that we never "sealed" the concrete with epoxy (and only painted the concrete porch). Given the sky-rocketing costs to do any home repairs, it seems more reasonable for us to do first level repair (not replace) that Brian suggests. Brian's honest and informative consultation (for free!!!) is piece of mind and a HUGE savings. We greatly appreciate Brian coming over to educate us - on his own dime. We will definitely ask Brian to come over again if/when we think we need an honest assessment of our home foundation needs."

"I have to give a huge shout out to Jeff Thoma and Prestige Paving. What an exceptional experience! I had multiple local contractors come out to give me bids on my driveway, removing old sinking and cracked concrete and replacing with new asphalt. Jeff came out to see me, told me exactly what they had to do to replace my driveway and the amount of work needed to do the job right. The other contractors wanted to pave over the sinking cracked driveway! They arrived like an army on Monday morning as scheduled, one of the guys on the crew even stood with my blind neighbor and waited for his Access van because the trucks were blocking his normal waiting spot. The team of 8-9 guys worked in perfect harmony, through torrential rain; if something dropped on the ground, someone else was scooping it up. They were very friendly and funny, considerate of our neighborhood and so efficient! The job was completed this morning and we couldn't be happier. So thankful that we chose Prestige Paving. When you want the job done right, call the professionals. Thanks Jeff, Heather, John and your team."

"The owner Tony, came over one day and wrote me an estimate including a description of everything that they were going to complete. This included: scaffolding around the house, dismantle 3-4 feet of chimney and existing cement crown, rebuild using new brick and mortar match, also damaged brick around areas on the house, rinse and apply cleaner along with cleaning up debris when completed. The scaffolding crew was very nice and built the scaffolding all around the house in a few hours. The crew that did the brick work, were there for a few days but made sure everything was completed. Overall, they completed everything as described and I am a very satisfied customer and would recommend them to anyone."

"Very well. Josh responded immediately. The price was very good for 113' drive, 9 feet wide with parking pad. The old driveway had to be removed and disposed of. The work was delayed significantly by the weather. Also, a coordinated effort was needed with my landscape person. Large trees had been removed and some of the roots had to be taken out. When the team got into gear they were able to complete the work in two days. Of course rain slowed the second day for five days."

"Dave was very professional and all of his work was first rate. He showed up when he said he would be here. He removed the old pavers, set up the forms, laid the concrete, and didn’t even balk when we asked him to add glow-in-the-dark marble chips on top, adding a day to his work at our home. He answered every question I asked and didn’t seem to mind that I spent a bit of time watching the whole process. The work site was cleaned up nicely when the job was done. I wish I’d found him sooner - the sidewalk is beautiful!"

"Rich did such a good job with my Landscaping needs that I hired him to replace my back yard patio. He demo'd the old crumbling cement pads, disposed of the old cement,  dug out the area to the specified depth and laid the red patio stone (I had the limestone for drainage delivered, as well as the red patio stone---This cut down on the cost and Rich was agreeable to this).  Everything was completed within 5 days.  Again Rich did a beautiful job.  He is by far the most reliable, honest and hard working contractor that I have ever hired. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Champion, PA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
