I had several contractors come to assess the job and give a quote, but Richard seemed the most knowledgeable and he performs the work himself. I could not be more pleased with his design and carpentry work! Richard was not the lowest quote but the other contractors verbalized that there might be adjustments if they hit issues along the way. Richard was very detailed in his assessment and the job was completed smoothly. Both doors look like they are original with the home and they are absolutely wonderful. Joe took the door off and refit it properly so I can now use my deadbolt again. My door knob lock was also sticking. After he checked it he said I needed to replace the door knob due to its age and suggested I go to a hardware store so I can get the new knob and get it rekeyed to my current key. He was very pleasant and professional. I would work with him again."
