Him and his worker (Don) were knowledgeable and worked well to make sure the project was done in a way that not only looks good but worked for what I wanted! "Anton was going to replace my damaged concrete garage floor. We had assumed the heaving was caused by an insufficient base, The base was ok, but he discovered A LOT of water about a foot down. Any contractor could have continued with the job only to have it fails again in a year or two. He reviewed all of the options from least expensive to â fixing it rights. He even spent time giving advice on repointing my brick stairs. And he would not take a penny. I appreciated Antons integrity, knowledge, and professionalism and I will definitely hire him again."

"I called Kevin on 8/12/13 and he came out that afternoon and gave us an estimate.  Called him on 8/13/13 to tell him we would like the work done.  He said he could do it the next day 8/14/13 and he returned on 8/16/13 to seed and put the straw down.  I would recommend him for you tree and stump removal.. We were very satisfied....  Thanks Kevin...

"Wanted a small patio/hangout area in the back yard for summer grilling and entertaining. Saying I was satisfied would be an understatement, Coombs Landscaping by far exceeded all expectations…our backyard BBQ’s are a neighborhood favorite. Coombs Landscaping was timely, professional, and even worked a few days in the pouring rain to make sure our patio was ready for a summer gathering we had planned. Extremely impressed with the outcome- the wife and I are already budgeting to have them come back to do a small walkway for us in the fall. Can’t say enough great thing about Nate and his crew! Highly recommend!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Chebeague-island, ME

The recommended interval for paver maintenance varies based on several factors, including climate conditions, usage patterns, and sealant type. Most surfaces benefit from resealing every two to five years, with more frequent attention needed in harsh environments or high-traffic areas.

Properties with significant tree coverage or water exposure may require more regular maintenance. Annual inspection allows homeowners to identify emerging issues before they require extensive intervention.

Professional service providers offer several advantages, including specialized equipment calibrated for optimal application rates, thorough preparation techniques, and experience identifying underlying issues that might affect sealant performance.

Technicians understand product compatibility with different paver materials and can recommend appropriate solutions for specific conditions. The efficiency and precision of professional application often results in more consistent coverage and potentially longer-lasting protection compared to first-time DIY efforts.

Optimal timing for paver sealing projects depends primarily on weather conditions rather than specific calendar dates. The application requires consistently dry conditions with moderate temperatures, between 50°F and 85°F.

Spring and fall often provide ideal conditions in many regions, avoiding both excessive heat that causes rapid drying and cold temperatures that inhibit proper curing. The surface must be completely dry before application, requiring several consecutive precipitation-free days beforehand.

Initial drying times vary by product type and environmental conditions. Most water-based sealants become touch-dry within two to four hours but require 24 to 48 hours before supporting normal foot traffic.

Solvent-based products need slightly longer initial drying periods but may develop full hardness more quickly. Factors like humidity, temperature, and air circulation significantly influence drying rates. For vehicle traffic or furniture placement, manufacturers recommend waiting at least 48 to 72 hours to ensure complete curing.
