"We were very pleased with the skill, hard work and professionalism of Guerra and Son?s. Our home had not been painted in several years. Thus, some major upgrading was required. The interior of our two story home (except 2 bedrooms and master bath) had drywall repaired and was repainted. Additionally, cabinets in our laundry room and in an upstairs bath and one new exterior door were repainted. The crew worked very hard and stuck to the work over a two week period. We chose SW Emerald paint. What a difference an experienced painting crew can make. Additionally, we had the crew replace mirrors, lighting fixtures in two bath and a vanity in one bath. "Royal was, as always, meticulous -- no mess ever -- with excellent final results. Done on time and below budget. This isn't the the first time Royal has worked at our house. We have an old house (c 1900) with plaster walls. Many were cracked, chipped, and stained when we first move in. Royal has fixed all of that. He not only paints the walls, he puts a lot of effort prepping them by first filling in cracks, smoothing rough spots, and aligning woodwork. The results have always been exceptional. "I've used DH Painting and More to remodel our laundry room and they did a great job then, so it was a no brainier to hire them again. I setup a meeting with Dave, the owner of DH Painting and More, for a quote. We went over the work to be done and he was able to provide a quote quickly and was very responsive when I had follow up questions. I agreed to the scope of work, but like my prior project with them, we needed to make changes and they were very accommodating. We would discuss what needed to be done outside of scope and Dave would be clear on what it would cost me to do. On some occasions I would ask about doing something a certain way but Dave would insist to do things a specific way. When I'd ask why he'd explain things very clearly and on some occasions he'd tell me flat out that if he did what I asked it would look poorly on the quality of work he did. This showed that he cared about his craft and took pride in his work. Which to me was a big deal. The workers that Dave brought onsite were great too. Easy to talk to and good workers. One of his workers was super handy and was able to make some custom cabinet doors to match everything else we had in place in our kitchen. Couldn't be happier with the work they've done and will be using them on my future projects."

"They did an excellent job. I usually do painting myself. However the high ceiling and beams are too much for me. This was worth every penny I spent. They were reasonable in price . Because of the pricing I had them do a bedroom on top of the living room and hallway. Victor (painter) was making sure everything was correct and what I expected. "After unsuccessfully trying to remove wallpaper that had probably been on the walls for 30 years or more, I gave up and decided to find someone to do it. There were not a lot of options, but one site came up, 2nd Street Painting, so I emailed a request for estimate. Within minutes, the owner, Nate Garcier contacted me and offered to come by on Sunday, Dec. 31st. He came as scheduled, assessed, measured and gave me an estimate, followed by an emailed quote later that afternoon. Finding 2nd Street Painting was a stroke of luck. The work was done in three days, removing wallpaper, priming and repairing cracks and holes in walls and ceiling, and then painting. Workers arrived on time, got to work, and daily cleanup was fantastic. The crew was pleasant and when they ran into a snag, explained what was going on, how it was going to be remedied. They had to paint the continuation of a long wall, part of which had been painted earlier, and the match was perfect. You could not see any “seam”. When they left the work area was cleaner than it was when they started! Highly recommended!"

"Did excellent work. Had to wait quite some time before they were able to do the work. Had the estimate done around Memorial Day and they were not able to do to the work until late November.  Parts were on back order and weather. Would have no problem asking Artemans to do more work on our house. Very professional and courteous. <br />"
