"We used Angie's list for the first time, and scheduled the appointment on a Saturday morning for the following Monday morning at 8 AM. By 9 AM the job is finished and I had bid on adding a pressure regulator that I will schedule next month--my preference."

"<p>He never missed a day of work.  He asked my opinion on everything I had him change on the interior.  The buildings were formerly known as Sys's Bar.  That same property is now an upscale; smoke free; very clean ongoing pub for folks to spend leisure in.  I am 110% certain any person whom employ's his company will be more than satisfied as I was/am.</p>"

"Mike could not give an estimate because we had no idea how much would have to be done. He did have experience rehabbing over 150 houses for HUD in the Hannibal area, and a good reputation. He was able to start work immediately (I gave him a $5000 deposit to start work). He sent itemized invoices regularly, emailed me with general questions, and called me immediately about problems. The whole job was completed in early August, 8 or 9 weeks after the work was started. I visited the work site several times during the rehab. He and his crew were courteous and answered questions promptly. When the work involved something unplanned -- the water main leak, the rotted floor, window, and wall that had all been missed by the inspector -- he or the workman involved explained in detail what they had done and where. I am pleased, because this is what I expect from contractors. I don't always get it. I had never done any business in Missouri and knew no one other than the real estate agent who sold me the property. It was so reassuring to find someone like Mike."
