"Fixed loose post dug hole filled with concrete, put new gate latch , put a strap on gate so it wouldn't sag anymore. Re-screwed all loose boards on my fence, and waterproofed it with a beautiful stain. I am very please with his work, him and his helper were on time, and were polite and professional. At any time I would ask questions they were very informative , and the work was finished on time, and they cleaned up after theirselves.

"The crew came out when they said they would and got to work.  They were professional and they made sure to clean up all the debris.  They matched the shingles well and we can't tell the difference between the old and new shingles.

Roof Cleaning Process - Eco Friendly \nElite Roof Cleaners., Missouri's foremost expert on proper shingle cleaning techniques, is here to rid the “Black Streaking” from your roof. Inaccurately identified as “roof mold,” these blue-green algae appear on roughly 80% of all homes in Missouri and may reduce your home’s curb appeal and also its overall value. Don’t replace your roof, we’ll clean it. In fact, an estimated 50% of all new residential roofs are installed not because they are leaking or worn out – but for aesthetic reasons only. \nIt is very important to have the utmost confidence when hiring a qualified roof cleaning contractor. The experts at Roof Cleaning Missouri/Kansas use the algae removal methods recommended by the Roof Cleaning Institute of America (RCIA). We also adhere to the “Soft Wash” roof cleaning process approved by the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA). We never use pressure washing equipment which would harm your shingles. Our algae eliminating chemicals do all of the work to remove the “Streaking” and discoloration from your roof and requires NO pressure washing or heavy rinsing. Leaving the chemicals on the roof creates a hostile environment for future algae growth. Each time it rains, a small amount of chemical is reactivated to give your roof a secondary cleaning and aids in disinfecting the mold and mildew embedded in the shingles even further. Your roof benefits with a longer lasting cleaning and overall appearance. \n \nEnvironmentally Friendly \n \nAt Roof Cleaning Missouri we take special pride in keeping your home and property environmentally safe and secure. We follow the proper roof cleaning chemical standards set by the Asphalt Roof Manufacturers Association. Our cleaning chemicals are as safe as what you put down your household drains. \n \nWhat You Should Know \nRoof Washing is a completely different trade from pressure washing requiring different pumps, hoses, nozzles, chemicals, caution, knowledge, experience, skill, and insurance. \nPressure washing (power washing) is not recommended because it will remove a large amount of the ceramic coated granules from your shingles, which will void the warranty. Even low pressure will cause granule loss and shorten the life of your shingles. If you have ever cleaned your gutters you will notice granules in them just from the rainfall. Think what any additional pressure would do to your roof! \nThe price of cleaning your roof is approximately 1/10 of its overall replacement cost. \n \nRemember, \n“Roof cleaning does'nt cost "It Pays".

FAQs for roof cleaning service projects in Cherokee, KS

To find a reputable ice dam removal company, check verified customer reviews and ensure they have the proper credentials. Look at online testimonials and consult reputable agencies like the Better Business Bureau to validate their service record. Contact the company to ask about their experience, hourly rates, and safety practices. This helps ensure you're hiring a pro with proven expertise and a solid track record to protect your home from ice dam damage.

Ice dams can cause extensive damage that jeopardizes your entire roof structure. They can lead to issues like attic condensation, broken roof sheathing, persistent leaks, visible wall water stains, mold in your attic insulation, sagging drywall, rotting attic framing, and roof collapse. This damage compromises your home's integrity and requires immediate professional attention to ensure proper repair and safety.

Most insurance policies don’t include coverage for the removal of ice dams since it's considered preventive maintenance. However, damage caused by ice dams—such as roof collapse, extensive water damage, or structural failures—may be covered by your policy. It's a good idea to contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams. Use a proper roof rake from the ground or a safe ladder—never climb onto an icy roof. Also, consider addressing any inadequate attic insulation that may cause heat leakage. Promptly clearing snow minimizes risks and helps maintain a safe, durable roof.
