They were patient and understanding with having to wait for payment to go through on mortgage company as well. O.C. Roofing replaced our hail damaged roof and vinyl siding. In the end it allowed us to sell our home and get top dollar for all of the fresh new look. Even when the insurance company would not cover the entire home siding, Jim at O.C. was able to match it so closely that you could not tell it was a different brand. "Hail damage occurred in March of this year and I contacted Braswell Construction as well as 2 other local roofing companies. Chris Gaugler contacted me asap and came out to the house. The other two roofing companies I never heard back. Braswell Construction contacted my insurance company and worked out all the details. A week later I had a brand new roof with gorgeous colored shingles. Everyone in the neighborhood stopped by and literally knocked on the door to inquire. Chris Gaugler was onsite and available for questions anytime to the very end. The crew only took one day to do the house, extended 4 car garage and well house. Photos attached and it really makes a difference."

"I was hoping for a better turnout. There was no discount for Angie's List or anything, and they were not the cheapest estimate. The roof was not completed correctly the first time, and I had taken pics and sent them to the sales person, Dylan. The start date was delayed, and even the follow up, I had to message several times to get a date for inspection. When the OP (operations manager) Johnny came out, he seemed hesitant on fixing any issues, and tried to make some excuses or reasons for the crew's shortcuts. Dylan happened to side with me, so correction work was scheduled. The problem was they did not cover certain sections with the felt, so there was just shingles laid over large gaps in the roof. Anyhow, there was even poor follow up on the correction. I am hesitant on asking them to make any more corrections, as they may be disgruntled at this point. In hindsight, I would have gone with another contractor. Rating is a between C+ and B-."

"I had a brand new heat pump system installed in April 2023. They sent subcontractors to install it who were very unprofessional and they left bare wires hanging out of the machine and it did not look like it was installed correctly. It stopped working completely 4 times in 5 months, the last time was on October 10, service tech said, “I really don’t agree with the way they installed it “ he said the wires were barely connected so it kept losing power. He got it working again and left. Two weeks ago it got cold and we turned the system to heat for the very first time. It blew cold air. We made ANOTHER service call. The technician said that a switch had “gone bad” because, “they wear out” we explained that we have never used the heat even once, so how could the switch be worn out. Then they advised they had to order a part. Over a week later the part came in and they returned and that still didn’t fix. Now they say the compressor has, “gone bad” and when we reiterated that we have never even used it so how is it worn out they answered, “they just go bad sometimes” we still don’t have heat, they say they have to order more parts. We asked them to look over the whole system because we don’t think it is installed right and I am genuinely concerned that it is a fire hazard and they looked at it, put electrical tape on some hanging wires and left. We have had to take SIX days off work so far and buy space heaters and we are no closer to having a working system. This unit is less then SIX MONTHS OLD. At this point I have no choice but to pursue legal action. This whole experience has been terrible and has cost me hundreds in missed time at work and I’m still paying for a system that does not work."
