"RUN, use a different pool company. Budd’s has gone down hill. They take your money, do a crappy job and won’t call you back. My pool is falling apart and is just 4 years old. It’s been falling apart since it was built. They replaced the coping once and made it worse. Promises not kept and again Chris will not get back to do the work promised. Grout disintegrating into my pool. Waterfall stones are crooked and the filled 2” gaps with grout instead of stones. Liner lock has grout in it so it isn’t locking in the liner. The under side of the coping has holes big enough for my finger to go in it. Concrete sank and pump pad leaving my equipment sitting in 5” of water. Chris blamed us for this issue.while my pool was being build, we had a major rain storm and all my piping and pump pad where floating. They never went back and tamped it, therefore it sank."

"Run the other way! We don’t want the company to know who is leaving the review so we will give limited details. We were told the project manager was challenging to deal with but thought we could handle it. We were very sorry we didn’t heed the warning we received. The details to know 1. Little to no communication. You will only know day before if someone is arriving the next day or not. This is the best case: you find out the day before and, if you are lucky, they show up. 2. You will have people show up without warning as well. You don’t dare turn them away because you want the job to continue. 3. No one is onsite running your job. It’s random crews with no conversation showing up. Check their work before you let them leave. Multiple things needed to be fixed after crews left. 4. No one cares. No one to complain to, no one thinks this business model is a problem for customers. Get your recommendation from your local pool servicer. If they don’t service fresh plaster, find one that does. Ask them who the best local pool refinisher/plaster company is for your area. We now know who we should have used for a much better experience. Good luck"
